Consumer Review

Epinions

That cute little thing stuck his tongue out at me!

by  garfield135,   Dec 13, 2006

Pros:  Good gameplay, neat music, I can't beat it in 3 seconds like SMA4!

Cons:  Same Mario Bros., and my game won't save anymore.

The Bottom Line:  If you can get this game, then get it!

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I got this game online for about $12 and I have vastly enjoyed it. There are 48 levels of Yoshi and Crybaby Mario.( Crybaby Mario is really not that bad...he only cries when you do something wrong...those people who say "all he does is cry" must be HORRIBLE at playing games!) The levels have no time limit, you you can spend (if your GameBoy holds it's battery life) all day beating them!

Only con is that a little while after I got this it wouldn't save my game (Fortunately,I had already beat the game; Baby Bowser is sorta hard to beat!) but the game was used so don't blame it on the game.(Oh, 1 more con, you might not like the minigame it comes with ; it's that Mario Bros. spam again.)

This game is awesome!

When you start, you can watch a mini-movie about the game or you can skip it. Then you go to the menu and pick which account you use. Then you see a little menu that lets you pick a land and once you pick a land (you can only pick a land you've beaten already or the level you're working on) you play!

You can stick out your tongue at enemies and if you are close enough, they'll stick to your tongue and go in your mouth! Then you can spit them out or make them into eggs (Hello Mama Yoshi!) and throw them!

There are bonuses you can get (like flowers) and if you get every single bonus you get 100 points!

In the land there are 2 levels that you have to beat a boss. The last boss of a land is (normally) tougher. The end boss (baby Bowser) is actually kinda HARD to beat! Super Mario Advance 4 boss ( Big Bowser) is so easy to beat!

Anyway, there's not much more I can say about this game except it really rocks!
