Epinions Is That A Dinosaur In Your Pocket?

by  bangj,  Mar 18, 2005
Pros: Bright, colorful, great fun
Cons: I'll get back to you
The Bottom Line: One of the last decades greatest platformers on the GBA. How could you go wrong?
Review: If there is one game on the GBA that feels like it belongs, this is it. Yoshi’s Island fits the handheld perfectly, the controls are intuitive, even for big hands and the game is bright enough that it works wonderfully on the dark screen. The bonus for ...

by  vadimio,  Dec 15, 2002
Pros: nice colorful graphics, good sound, mini-games, captivating gameplay
Cons: Mario Bros. - the same multi-player, AGAIN!!!
The Bottom Line: This is a port of one of the best platform games of all times!!! It is a must buy for not only Mario fans, but for eveerybody.
Review: Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is the third Mario game ported to the GameBoy Advance. I have played all three and have decided to review them. I chose to review the last one first because it was the best out of all three, and there were no...

Epinions Returning to Yo'ster Paradise

by  NMD85,  Dec 29, 2002
Pros: Outstanding visuals, extremely adaptive and inuitive gameplay, hilarious enemies & names
Cons: Baby Mario is nothing but a pest, some levels are tiringly near perpetual
The Bottom Line: Yoshi's Island was one of the most revolutionary, well-balanced platformers years ago and it still follows that famed trend with a flawless if better port on the Game Boy Advance
Review: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island has forever been plagued with an evil curse set by Nintendo. Ever since it's release in 1995 on the Super Nintendo, it's tried to sell based on the overshadowed title Super Mario World 2. It seems the very same...

Epinions That cute little thing stuck his tongue out at me!

by  garfield135,  Dec 13, 2006
Pros: Good gameplay, neat music, I can't beat it in 3 seconds like SMA4!
Cons: Same Mario Bros., and my game won't save anymore.
The Bottom Line: If you can get this game, then get it!
Review: I got this game online for about $12 and I have vastly enjoyed it. There are 48 levels of Yoshi and Crybaby Mario.( Crybaby Mario is really not that bad...he only cries when you do something wrong...those people who say "all he does is cry" must be ...

Epinions Excellent little game

by  sipecannon,  Jan 17, 2003
Pros: Incredible detail and color, lots of levels for such a small cartridge
Cons: music themes become stuck in my head for hours
The Bottom Line: Five-star game. Lots of levels that I wouldn't mind playing over and over again.
Review: I have a very abnormal, deprived gaming background because as a kid my parents refused to buy systems. Of course, I would salivate over the original Super Mario and duck hunt on the original NES at friends' houses, but for the most part, since I was...

Epinions SMW2 Yoshi's Island.

by  yoshibot3d,  Apr 23, 2003
Pros: Excellent remake, good graphics, funny enemies.
Cons: plot's ok, and same multi-player game.
The Bottom Line: Get it, you won't be let down. Good graphics, nice sound and there are some pretty cool locked levels.
Review: Yoshi stars in Nintendo's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This is a remake of the SNES game, and I think Nintendo did an outstanding job on remaking it.

The story is this, a stork is bringing two small packages to two lucky parents. ALL...

Epinions Want to Talk About a REAL Video Game...

by  cricks,  Jan 23, 2004
Pros: Good, well-thought out gameplay, good variety, vibrant colors of levels
Cons: Mario's crying is really annoying
The Bottom Line: I love this game and you probably will too. Just give it a chance!
Review: Anybody remember this gem of a beauty on Super Nintendo? This was always one of my favorites on the Super Nintendo system, not because I'm a Mario fan, or because I'm a Yoshi fan, but because this game is so versatile! Most games go as follows: ...

Epinions Yoshi hits the mark

by  Quick101,  Feb 1, 2004
Pros: Fun, entertaining, not violent, yet still challenging. Demonstrates teamwork.
Cons: May persuade your child to want to paint their room green.
Review: When i first got this game for my daughter, her first reaction was, "Ewwww! He's green!" That really amazed me. Yet, in the next few hours, she really got into the game, and wouldn't stop playing. Later on that day, she told me that she loved this ...
