Affordable camera gets the job done...

This camera was an upgrade over my last camera which eventually did not function.

I bought this camera at $50 on eBay and for what I got it was a steal. The camera has a 2.5 LCD monitor, camera settings, 6x Optical Zoom, 4x Digital Zoom, and lastly 32 MB built-in memory. The product is supposed to hold up to 1 GB SD card memory but I use a 2GB card and there is no problem thus far, although I have not used 453 pictures yet.

So far it has given me one main problem. Sometimes when it starts up there is a purple light that flashes for about three seconds then the picture comes up but this may just be a defect since I did not get it completely new although it was advertised as being new. Now it doesnt show even after 3 seconds and Im contacting the company with questions and the person who sold it to me.

Although the zoom can take a picture at 6X zoom the picture is not high quality by any means so the zoom at that distance is almost useless so do not expect to use this for lets say, surveillance.

Just like most digital cameras coming out this camera has features you will not use like being a MP3 player for instance but it shows that its a higher quality camera.
