Cons:
Poor QC - for an expensive 'top of the range' model unacceptable...

Dead pixels, obvious backlight bleed. On my 3rd unit and they get worse each time... This is sold as a premium product and appears to be - until you switch it on. The only benefit for spending all that extra money for a 'ViewSonic' is a reasonably good stand (although not as good as the Dell Ultrasharp ones). Even the stand isn't perfect though - when you swivel it to one side the panel doesn't appear to stay even (ie it tilts - trust me I've used a spirit level!). Nice colours and it plays DVDs well BUT the backlight leakage from the corners will drive you nutty unless you are viewing in a brightly lit room. Very sad as a lot of web reviews on the VP range rate their products highly as perhaps the best all rounder - but my experience doesn't reflect that. If you're fussy try to see one before you part with your money - the price online has dropped like a stone recently so watch that too!
