Epinions Occupation: Rock Star

by  mspixie,  Dec 31, 2000
Pros: Great music, sly sense of humour, and really cool "flat" animation.
Cons: You MUST learn the buttons and there are only a few levels to beat
Review: Everyone wants to be a Rock Star. It is the single perfect job. You wear extremely cool clothes with lots of sparkles, you get to be really loud, you are treated like royalty, you make millions for doing really very little, and people everywhere are on...

Epinions Jam along with talking animals and a jammin' lamb!

by  napheadpsx,  Apr 25, 2001
Pros: Catchy music, Fun to play with a friend
Cons: Very strange, but if you like strange stuff this is it!
The Bottom Line: Surprisingly fun if you can be accurate with the whacked-out music!!
Review: What the heck?! a guitar playing lamb? Oh yeah, it's just Um Jammer Lammy! Prepare to get jiggy with lots of really strange songs and lyrics that are from Tom Green himself. (not really, but you never know!) If you're into playing those button...

Epinions Milkcan's Here!

by  Girl_Goddess,  Jul 29, 2000
Pros: Interesting Characters, Bright Colours, Good Music
Cons: None!
Review: This game is all about the adventures of Lammy, the lead guitarist of the fictional band Milkcan, on her journey to her band's concert. Helping a nurse put crying babies to sleep, playing guitar for a lounge singer, and helping a woodcutter chop down a...

Epinions Cool music, bad graphics, it's all in this games mind.

by  StriderHiryu1,  May 16, 2000
Pros: Great music, wacky story segments
Cons: Sometimes the game will score you bad even if you get every rift perfect. Sometimes you'll be think'in what the programmers were smok'in when they made those story segments
Review: UmJammer Lammy is the long awaited sequel to PaRappa that every one that owned PaRappa and liked it wants. Or is it? Well, In my opinion, YES! Even though I only owned PaRappa for a couple days do to it being a used and very scratch game, I like Lammy...

Epinions More LSD-inspired gaming from Japan

by  godking,  Dec 15, 1999
Pros: Weird as hell
Cons: Hard as hell
Review: PaRappa the Rapper was the first game I bought for the Playstation. And it was seriously - I mean, DEVIANTLY - weird. The rapping puppy was surely inspired by crack dreams, but despite this the game itself was a fun little piece of work.

Epinions Lammy delivers fun

by  rbrad,  Oct 26, 2000
Pros: Lots of fun, replayable, and very entertaining
Cons: The US version is toned down from the original version (only one joke though that was changed), some people may not like the game because it is a niche genre and probably will not appeal to everyone.
Review: While on its con side, the game was arguably 'too easy to win,' there are more advanced modes of play that are of considerable difficulty, and therefore the common criticism that it is too easy to beat is weakened somewhat.

The game is a...

Epinions But It's Nice!

by  proth,  Dec 4, 1999
Pros: Most everything.
Cons: Cons?
Review: I had my apprehensions at first. As a rapping puppy didn't seem likeable a few years back, now I wasn't so sure about, as the jewel case puts it, "the guitar-slinging megastar of an all-chick band".

So anyway, I start up the game,...

Epinions flat out funny

by  AmandaTucker,  Mar 1, 2000
Pros: it uses 2D instead of 3D
Cons: none
Review: This is about a girl named Lammy (shes a lamb!) that is in a band, named the Milkcans. Well she gets up one morning and is suppose to meet her friends at a gig down town, but wakes up late ,and only has under a half a hour to get there. So she is hurrying...

Epinions This Is What Happens When Drug Addicts Make A Game

by  Goldentoe,  Nov 10, 2000
Pros: Music, Gameplay
Cons: The Effects of The Drugs On The Story Writers' Mind
Review: When the PS2 came out and I knew I couldn't afford it for quite a while I went into a depression and figured on doing very little in the terms of video game reviews until I got one. Well the funk that I was in was quickly lifted when I went to Wal-Mart...

Epinions Dojo, casino, it's all in the mind... Leave it to Lammy!

by  offspringer,  May 11, 2000
Pros: More PaRappa goodness; catchy tunes
Cons: Difficulty considerably higher; could have had more stages
Review: Um Jammer Lammy is the sequel (of sorts) to PaRappa the Rapper, so it obviously has more of the same; more music, more fun, more game modes, and more absurdly strange storylines. Lammy is a, well... lamb. She plays guitar in a band called MilkCan and her...
