Epinions An improved version of it's older sibling

by  bigft64,  Dec 30, 2004
Pros: Good mission variety...AI is better than average...multiplayer is a blast...very good graphics
Cons: All minor things. No blood...animations are lackluster...the plot is shallow and unoriginal.
The Bottom Line: A top-notch game with no major flaws. Personal preference is really the only deciding factor on weather or not you will like this game.
Review: I remember I played the demo for the PC version of Ghost Recon a long while ago and although I remember kinda liking it the thing that struck me was "Wow, this is just like Rainbow Six." It had separate squads of soldiers all whom you controlled through ...

Epinions GR2 a great addition to the series

by  beonder13,  May 19, 2006
Pros: Brings third person to the series
Cons: some think the pro is a con
The Bottom Line: A must have for fans of the series and any tactical player for that matter
Review: Ghost Recon 2 may be one of the best first/third person shooters on the last generation Xbox. You play as Scott Mitchell and command the Ghosts through missions throughout Korea. Everything about this title is just awesome. The solo campaign is tough ...

Epinions As good as GR2

by  beonder13,  May 19, 2006
Pros: Great follow up to GR2
Cons: that darn Red X
The Bottom Line: Another hit by UBI and Red Storm
Review: GRSS Summit Strike is like GR2 with snow and wide-open terrains and was initially sold for just $29.99. You can find it for much less now and itÂ’s worth it. My favorite aspect is that THE BLOOD IS BACK!!! Like the original in the series, the ...

Epinions WOW!!!!!!!!!

by  skiboy90,  Jan 13, 2005
Pros: Good graphics, 3rd person, just all around good
Cons: Nothing At All !!!!!!
Review: This Game is the number one game i have so far. It has the best graphics and best every thing. If you have a X box get it. You won't regret it. But if you have a PS2 well, I don't know what it's like so... I'm told it's a whole different game for PS2. ...

Epinions Great team action!

by  doug_wize,  Nov 16, 2005
Pros: Wide range of weapons to use/better team features than Ghost Recon I.
Cons: Graphic images of war.
Review: I love playing this game with my brothers and my niece. We have just about beat every mission using various weapons: Lone wolf grenade/submachine guns, sniper rifles and other state of the art military weaponry. You need strategy, team work and war ...

Epinions Team America Saves the World: Ghost Recon 2

by  Mike_Bracken, top reviewer in Games ,  Jan 10, 2005
Pros: exellent gameplay.
Cons: One Clancy game tends to look a lot like all the others these days.
The Bottom Line: The Xbox's contender to the SOCOM II title? Yeah.
Review: I gotta tell ya, I'm a little tired of seeing Tom Clancy's name on a new game seemingly every week. I mean, the guy's become so synonymous with videogames that an entire generation only knows of him because his name is plastered all over titles like ...

Epinions Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike for the Xbox

by  phungus,  Apr 13, 2008
Pros: Great graphics and sound, good challenge
Cons: Not the type of shoooter for everyone
The Bottom Line: If you prefer brains over brawn when it comes to shooting games, check this out.
Review: Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike is a first person shooter for the Xbox. This is the kind of shooting game that requires strategic thinking and a lot of patience. It involves a pretty high level of realism that means if you go running into an enemy ...

Epinions Addictive... Your girlfriend will hate you!

by  joedesi,  Jan 19, 2005
Pros: Great game, fun to play and multiplayer looks good.
Cons: No blood, sub-par unlockables.
The Bottom Line: This is a good game, worth buying, maybe not right away, but after the price drops for sure. I liked it, helped me kill a weekend.
Review: Being a Tom Clancy fan, I'm always intrigued by these types of games. First things first, I'll start with how the game starts; the intro is awesome. As I was watching it, my dad thought it was some sort of documentary on television. This tells you ...

Pros: Smooth fast gameplay, great upgrade from original Ghost Recon
Cons: Not many, could use another level or two
The Bottom Line: I really like this game, it was well worth buying. It's fun to play and an excellent upgrade from the original.
Review: I have had Ghost Recon 2 for a couple of weeks now. I also have the original Ghost Recon. I was very pleased how the sequel turned out. The graphics have had a very nice makeover and the game play seems to run faster and smoother. So far I have completed ...

Epinions Ghosts Strike the Summit!

by  omnilimbo,  May 22, 2006
Pros: A wide variety of maps to play in
Cons: more of the same for those who disliked GR2
The Bottom Line: It's good stuff, but I would have to recommend GRAW instead.
Review: Marketed as the stand alone expansion for Ghost Recon 2, Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike, is crammed full of high quality content that will surely satisfy fans of Ghost Recon 2, as well as newcomers to the Ghost Recon series. Game play in Summit Strike ...
