Don't be lookin' for graphics

by  ipod_maniac,   Jul 2, 2007

Pros:  Mind-working

Cons:  Bad graphics, difficult

The Bottom Line:  I recommend this to the hard-core gamer, looking for a hard game to prove him/herself.

This is not the best game, but is OK. Just don't buy it for its graphics. They're the worst graphics I've ever seen. The corners of everything are blocky, and the enemies are basically 3 colored blocks put together. The controls take a long time to get used to, not being able to use analog sticks. The D-Pad only lets you go straight, left, right, and backwards, while the analog sticks will allow you to manuever wherever you want. I bought all three Tomb Raiders from a dude I work with and he said he loved them. The only reason I got them were because they came with 30 other games for 25 bucks. This game gets right to the point, you don't have to sit through 10 minutes of clips before the game. This is also an inexpensive game, ranging from five to fifteen dollars new, and you could get it for about three used. Like I said, the graphics are pure blocks, horrible. It's a fun game, but it can get really difficult as you get into the game, harder enemies and impossible-to-navigate-mazes-that-you-can-get-so-close-but-I-just-can't-get-around-this-block moments. It's a nice game if you want a hard game to prove that you're the best gamer. Just look out for the graphics.
