One of the greatest games, especially for a knock-off

Why do I think it is a knock-off, you ask? You have seen SimCity, SimFarm, SimAnt, SimCopter, SimEVERYTHING! The company who makes this is called Maxis. Maxis makes these games. A long, long time ago in a galaxy far away, there was a little, puny game called Theme Park. It was made by Bullfrog Entertainment. The game sucked and failed. Now, Bullfrog sees Maxis, and all the sims. All they have to do is stick a sim up there, and their game is popular (with some revisions, of course).

So that's it, it's not the same company. But they made Sim Theme Park greater than the old Theme Park, yes, much greater. The game play is the same, but that's about it. You can build rides, and over a period of time, your hired scientists make new rides, shops, games, and even ride upgrades.

You can't design or change most of the rides, but the go-karts, Roller Coasters, tube rides, and log rides are the best thing on the game. Not only can you ride all the rides you build, but with the above mentioned rides, you can personalize. First you build the track, however you want. You can have it circling the park, with u-turns and everything.

Go-karts can have jumps; Roller Coasters, of course, can have awesome loops and huge drops, customized to the slight inside lean on the turns (or make it lean to the outside and have the kids get sick, seriously!); tube rides can be fast or slow, log rides with unimagineable drops or just riding around- 1,000 feet in the air.

The greatest thing of all is afterward, you can ride the rides, _exactly_ how you built them. If a loop you made was big, you know it was that loop (unless, of course, you have 10 big loops. You couldn't tell one from the next). Or say you build a bathroom, right beside the track. You can see it when you ride the ride. It's a great game.
