Family Fun Stuff: Mostly for Your Sims Kids

The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff pack features new items, clothing, and décor. This pack can be fun but is definitely mostly furniture and decorations for children’s rooms. However, there are some fun new clothing items such as outfits with Hawaiian shirts, pajamas with dinosaur feet slippers, and costumes such as a mermaid, a dinosaur, and a princess. There is some nautical décor for older Sims such as a model ship, oars, a “ship rotation device” (wheel), and a flotation device as well as some medieval-looking mask decorations. Almost everything else is children’s furniture, decorations, etc.

The two themes for the children’s furniture and decorations is medieval/fantasy and the ocean/under-the-sea. It is nice that the sets come with just about everything including beds, dressers, night stands, toy chests, desks, chairs, lamps, rugs, and even matching wallpaper. The fantasy-themed set features things like beds that look like castles, tapestries and rugs with fairies on them, and wallpaper with castles and dragons on it.

The ocean-themed set features things like a bed with a clam-looking headboard and footboard, a toy box that looks like an octopus, a lamp that resembles a jellyfish, and some decorative fish for the walls.

I did enjoy decorating the children’s rooms more and did kind of miss this stuff pack after I lost the CD.
