Eye catching game

Ok I admit this isn't normally a game I would have bought. My fiance started playing it first and I just watched, but I was fascinated by the game play so I started as well.

The game consists of many missions, and a good variety of them. Some missions include shadowing people, taking someone out, rescues, etc. The game also seems to be quite long in comparision to games like it. The basic story is you are a secret agent that must stop a company from producing a terrible virus.

The other characters/enemies in the game are done very well, you really feel as if you are dealing with real people. For instance when shadowing someone, if you get a tad too close they may stop and look around. Get way too close and they either open fire, or take off running. You must satisfy a main objective as well as sub objectives, such as assassinate a person, but also do not set off the alarms. The "boss" characters are hard, but extremely well done too. They MOCK you as you battle them, it's lots of fun. "Come out come out where ever you are!" taunts one boss, or "Where are you hiding, Logan?" (more or less accurate, it's been a while... ) I think that's a blast, I love character interaction.

The controls are a little hard to get use to, but it only takes a few tries to get it. There are also many weapons to be found, my favorite was the sniper's rifle with the wicked sight. You also can't do dumb things and get away with it, like pull the pin on a gas grenade and hold onto it.. whoops you are dead. You can target an enemies head and take them out immediately, if you hit other parts of their body they naturally take longer to expire. Being stealthy in the game is a must also, and sneaking around can be tough but exciting. This keeps the game from being too easy also, you can get caught often which may ruin the mission. You may need to try several times to get through something, like shooting out the lights so guards don't see you, or getting a head shot so they drop before setting off the alarm. Can be frustrating at times.

I suggest anyone who likes games like Metal Gear Solid, or Rainbow 6... pick up this game. It's well done all around and just plain fun to play. Like I said, I don't usually like these types games but this one is so interesting and fun to play I couldn't help it.
