Excellent machine for the price.

We love this machine. We had been shopping around for a burr grinder and settled on the Cuisinart. Price at Sam's Club was under $30.00.
The hopper makes it nice (it holds 1/2 lb or so), we fill it 2-3 times a week. The machine also provides a consistent grind. We had been using a blade grinder before this purchase. It had to be filled and the ground coffee measured before placing in the brewer to make a consistent cup of coffee. After a little experimenting with the Cuisinart, we established the coarseness and amount we needed to grind for our coffee maker. We have not made an adjustment since. The only problem that we have discovered is, with the hopper holding beans all of the time, it is difficult to get to the grinding area to clean. The catch basin is top shelf, dishwasher safe, so cleaning it is a breeze. The machine is loud during the grinding process and since I am up earlier than the rest of the family, they do find it annoying. The solution to this is getting the coffee ready the night before. If you enjoy your coffee and want to take your coffee drinking to the next level we strongly recommend that you look into this machine. You won't be disappointed.
