"MOVE IT TO THE LEFT,
NO RIGHT..
NOT THERE..

ARRGH!!!. I almost had you. Just one more drop and I would have won."

Everybody laughed and the party continued as another puzzle fighter bit the dust..

Welcome to Puzzle Fighter!
Buy this game! This game is one of the best games ever made because of ease of use, high depth of strategy, and addictive fun.

The game is relatively simple for the novice to grasp.
Little colored gems drop from the top of the screen. In a tetris like manner, you rotate the gems as they drop to form bigger gems by matching colors together. Every once in a while, a breaker( a sparkling gem ) will appear and will break all gems of the color that it hits. When it cracks, you drop x amount of gems on your enemy's screen.
You lose the game when your screen fills up.

Pretty simple right? =) But the fun comes in with the strategy...
those little capcom characters in the middle of the screen each has its own individual strategy. When Ryu drops gems on an opponent, he drops thems in columns. Chun Li's attack is big blocks while Ken drops horizontal rows. Each of these drop patterns favors a different timing to your attacks. If you're Ken, you don't want to drop small blocks, because your enemy will get a huge gem of red, which will kill you if you give him enough time.

In addition, you can link attacks. You can place breakers strategically on the map, so that when one gem breaks, the breakers will fall and break more gems. These linked attacks are more deadly then dropping one large gem at time.

The greatest thing about the game is that you always can come back...The game is balanced in the sense, that if you break gems higher up on the screen, they do more damage to your opponent. So even a novice who is pretty quick with the fingers can stand a chance against an expert.

So people complain that the game takes no skill but that isn't true. There is a strategy, which we call Level 5, where you drop as fast as you can. Granted, this strategy will easily beat most people but a true expert can beat anyone else playing the Level 5 trick. He just combines his skill with speed to defeat his enemy who is counting just on speed to win.

The last great thing and the best point is addictive fun. The games are short( like 5 minutes ). The learning curve is short but mastery takes a little time. Girls tend to love this game, so it tends to be a good game to have at parties. My friends were so addicted to it, we played matches every day after class....

Some hints:
Ken and Don are the better fighters to pick.
Chun Li and Ryu are weaker.

Link your attacks to do more damage( The second broken gem is worth double)( so a triple chain is more dangerous than a two chain attack).

Drop your gems to the left side.( Don't build under the hole).

HAVE FUN!!!
