Epinions A cracker in the desert...

by  steppencat,  Mar 18, 2002
Pros: Gorgeous graphics, faithful to the Star Wars universe, addictive style of play
Cons: WAY too hard, breaks no new ground, too much like Rogue Squadron
The Bottom Line: Good graphics, sometimes addictive gameplay, but the bottom line is that it's too hard, too short, and can get boring and frustrating quickly. Wait till it's bargain priced.
Review: Like the proverbial cracker in the desert, if you're starving for games for your emaciated Game Cube, this might be one to consider.

If, however, you're tastes are a little more discerning, or if you're using this review to purchase a Game...

Epinions Star Wars Geeks may rejoice until the sequel

by  linkinparkfan,  Jul 6, 2004
Pros: The game, the levels from the movies
Cons: Unlockables
Review: This game is made for star wars geeks, and fans of the 64 star fox game. It is a game where you are in a ship flying around shooting star wars enemies. I enjoyed this game and its levels, but I didnt like the ship selection including the ...

Epinions Use the force...Stay away as far as your mind can take you!

by  wandering_mage,  Jul 15, 2002
Pros: Graphics and sound. Yeah...that's about it
Cons: "All the things I can Think"
The Bottom Line: IT SUCKS.
Review: THE BASIC BEEF
Well, um...I can truly say that I enjoyed Star Wars: Rogue Squadron a lot. And as a sequel to a great game, Rogue Leader doesn’t do so well. It’s a GCN game and it’s not SSBM or RE, and that should say a lot. This game is just too...

Epinions Too frustrating for a middle aged "newbie"

by  heidigarofalo,  Jun 2, 2002
Pros: Stunning graphics and cinematic effects
Cons: Difficult visual cues and obtuse instructions
The Bottom Line: The graphics and animation are spectacular, but it's too frustrating to play unless you are an expert gamer. Too much difficult action and too little strategy and human interaction.
Review: I purchased the Gamecube last Christmas in order to provide myself and my husband with an entertaining recreational experience. This was our very first home electronic game system, and we are - yes - middle aged, childless, daring to leap into this high...

Epinions It's almost as hard as tryin' to get a coke machine to accept US currency.

by  koolkritik,  Jan 16, 2002
Pros: Best Graphics from GameCube so far. Almost felt as good as drivin my BMW...almost
Cons: Ludicrously high challenge level. 15 missions. Gets really frustrating, really quick.
The Bottom Line: I tire of this bottom line crap. Ok all right, THIS GAME IS TOO FRIKKIN HARD!!!!!!!! AND I HAVE BEEN PLAYIN VIDEO GAMES SINCE I WAS 5!
Review: This is GameCube? Oh my God, I almost bought this game. If you bought Pikmin or Super Smash Bros. Melee you lucked out. I have to admit, some of the missions were cool. The graphics are state-of-the-art. It's a great game. Why do I say it sucked?...
