Epinions Star Fox Adventures- Get your Safari hat.

by  magician_bink,  Oct 8, 2002
Pros: A great game to play. You'll love getting lost in it.
Cons: Rare's last game for Nintendo... :-(
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent game for novice players and those who are looking to start playing RPG's. A great stepping stone to some great games.
Review: Today I will be reviewing the game Star Fox Adventures for the Nintendo Game Cube.

After two games of just star fighter action, we finally see Fox McCloud in a starring role of an action/adventure game. This game is unfortunately to be...

Epinions So long Rare

by  ODIN1,  Oct 10, 2002
Pros: Graphics, overall package
Cons: Doesn't offer a whole lot of originality
The Bottom Line: The best game of this type on any system. A highly polished masterpiece.
Review: Star Fox wowed us all when it made its appearance on the 16bit Super Nintendo. True 3D graphics on a console system had only been thought a fantasy until then, and the graphics still look good even by today's standards. Not only did it look pretty, but...

Epinions Not Quite What You Would Expect, But Is That A Bad Thing?

by  Shaunpm60,  Mar 13, 2003
Pros: Great graphics and animations, with some farily good voice-overs.
Cons: Unoriginal design, quite a bit of backtracking sometimes.
The Bottom Line: Even though this really has nothing to do with the SatrFox series as a whole, it's a pretty respectable adventure game.
Review: StarFox Adventures really doesn't have anything to do with the StarFox series established in the past. Basically, Nintendo must have thought that adding a known character to an unknown game was a great way to sell copies of the title. While it's not a...

Epinions Rare's Swansong for the GameCube: Star Fox Adventures

by  Mike_Bracken, top reviewer in Games ,  Oct 16, 2002
Pros: Great graphics and gameplay
Cons: Fetch quests get a little repetitive
The Bottom Line: Rare's final Nintendo game is a classic.
Review: If there’s one thing Nintendo has in abundance, it’s mascots. The company can count some of gaming’s most recognized icons amongst its ranks—guys like Mario, Luigi, Samus (who, technically, isn’t a guy), and Link. It doesn’t end...

Epinions Star Fox leaves the Air Force and joins the Navy

by  flamepillar,  Nov 13, 2002
Pros: Clever puzzles, outstanding graphics, lots to learn and do
Cons: Arwing stages could have been better; Krystal's hardly in the game at all
The Bottom Line: If you liked Zelda 64, you'll like Starfox. If you like Starfox and Zelda 64, that's even better. If you like neither, well at least rent it.
Review: We all remember what a stunning, gunning and cunning pilot Fox McCloud can be. What we don't know (until recently, that is) is just how much of a fighter he is.

I always thought it was funny when Andross said to Fox at the end of Starfox 64,...

Epinions The Dinoaurs are coming!

by  l0wd0wndirty,  Oct 18, 2003
Pros: Graphics, Sound, Atmosphere
Cons: Fighting style, some puzzles
The Bottom Line: Ehh its a pretty good game, rent it first though.
Review: When Gamecube was still fairly new and I had my big plans too buy one. I got mine with two games, Mario Sunshine and Starfox Adventures. Why Starfox Adventures? Sometimes I ask myself that... but it was because the new Zelda hadn't hit yet and me being ...

Epinions Star Fox Adventures

by  bibo,  Oct 12, 2002
Pros: - Solid all-round - Graphics, Sound, Gameplay
Cons: - Sense of watching everything - Your annoying side-kick Tricky
The Bottom Line: A solid package over all, if you have a Gamecube please do yourself the favor and check this game out.
Review: There were two games on my most wanted list for the Nintendo Gamecube, those two games were why I was purchasing Nintendo's Gamecube. Which two games were they? Silicon Knight's Eternal Darkness, and Rare's Star Fox Adventures. As we all know by now, SFA...

Epinions Are You Feeling Foxy Tonight?

by  brett_day,  Nov 4, 2002
Pros: great graphics and sound, good story line
Cons: easy to complete, can be repetitive
The Bottom Line: a great adventure game that will tide you over until the release of Zelda.
Review: INTRO

I remember when StarFox was released on the SNES! It was a groundbreaking game using the all-new superfx chip! The graphics at the time were phenomenal, and the game was just superb! I was hoping that Nintendo would bring Fox Mcloud and...

Epinions Starfox Zelda

by  dilbert627,  Nov 10, 2002
Pros: Beautiful graphics and sound.
Cons: Somewhat repetitive gameplay. Flying levels are nothing special.
The Bottom Line: Definitely worth a rental just because it's so beautiful. Maybe a buy, if you like this type of game.
Review: Story/Premise:
Fox trades in his blaster for a magical staff in the final Nintendo game from fan-favorite developer, Rare.

Dinosaur Planet is being torn apart by some unknown energy. Fox must find out what's going on and try to fix it....
