Epinions Great Sound for active people

by  fiat84,  Mar 20, 2007
Pros: Great Sound, charges quickly, small, light, durable all aluminum body, included armband
Cons: SonicStage software frustrating so use voidMP3, file transfer speeds a bit slower than expected.
The Bottom Line: With great sound and small size, included armband, is good for various activities.
Review: Whether at the gym or running on the trails this Sony has GREAT sound compared to my old MP3 player. Tested and the sound quality is not from the headphones as I had anticipated. Tried various headphones comparing my old MP3 player and this Sony rocks. ...

Epinions Fantastic min music player

by  vicalva,  Aug 8, 2007
Pros: Stylish, lightweight, battery stamina, sound quality, sport functions.
Cons: SonicStage and the interface on the device itself are ok but could be improved.
The Bottom Line: I strongly recommend it for the gym, running in a park (avoid crossing the street!!!) and for those who are bored with the iPod.
Review: Just bought it and used it today for the first time. I'm impressed. It's so lightweight, sounds great, comes with a G sensor which counts the miles, the steps and the calories you burn when you go running. It's brilliant. I've got an ipod 30gb which is ...

by  jillako,  Oct 6, 2006
Pros: Size, Display, Quick Charge, Sound quality, Pedometer
Cons: Supplied earphones, SonicStage software
The Bottom Line: Good flash player if you need the pedometer
Review: I dig the player. Sound quality is good, player is small (basically an oversized MD in-line remote), controls are intuitive and there are plenty of options such as EQ settings, display orientation, order of play etc. The display is very clear but is a ...

Epinions Sony software is crippling

by  chris234,  Jun 3, 2007
Pros: The device is clever packed full of features for the budget range of mp3 players.
Cons: The SonicStage software that you the consumer is forced to use.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy. The Sony software you are forced to use is crippling. It is called SonicStage.
Review: Unfortunate that Sony feels the need to play big brother to the point of oppressiveness. The device is really great BUT- you can not put files onto it without using the software they supply in the package SonicStage. It takes forever to install and the ...
