Sony ICD-P520 Handheld Digital Voice Recorder

I have been using this handy recorder for about a year. It's great!!! No problems with the software either. I use it for recording meetings, download it to the computer, and then listen back to write a transcript of the meeting. I have not used the VOX capability, and can not comment on that. One of the complaints I see on this device is that there is not case. I have found one and it's only $5. GO to the Leatherman web site (they make handy hand tools). There Supertool (I have one, and it fits in, nice and snug) is the exact same size, and under accessories you can order a few different types of cases. The leather one has some brass rivets in the back which will eventually scratch the back of the unit, I would suggest the Nylon case instead, or putting some tape inside the leather case to protect the unit.
