Epinions gets the job done.

by  exactionfigure,  Mar 9, 2003
Pros: great functional record player
Cons: cannot set the exact speed of the timing belt
The Bottom Line: Great utility record player that gets the job done. Great buy for the money.
Review: I received this record player for Christmas because I was in need of a functional record player quite badly. I was going to hold out to get a Technics, even though I'm not mr. DJ or anything - I just like to buy quality. However, after several months...

Pros: Nice sound Well isolated Easy to operate Good price

Review: I bought one of these at Circuit City for burning my LP collection to CD. The turntable sets up easily, the automatic controls work well, the sound is good, and the price right.

Epinions Very Good For the Price

by  macossay,  Apr 23, 2008
Pros: Good entry level sound, built in preamp
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: A good entry level turntable for listening to vinyl records or recording them to CD.
Review: A very good entry level turntable. Sound is clean, wow and flutter are inaudible, the rumble that plagued early belt drive turntables has been engineered out. I've been using mine for over six years with no problems. It plays 45s and 33s, but not 78s. ...

by  matthall06,  May 31, 2006
Pros: Excellent sound, 33 \ 45. Stylish, size.

The Bottom Line: I would recommended this product to anyone!
Review: I am a 12 year old boy and my dad got me in to records a few months ago. I was satisfied playing them on my old Ultra system but after a while my dad decided it was time for a new system. We hadn't really spotted many where we lived = in sheffield. ...

Epinions Average Every Day Player

by  jwissinger,  Jan 24, 2008
Pros: Simple to use, clean modern look
Cons: $100 does not buy what it used to!
The Bottom Line: At the lower end of the price bracket, it still works well for the user who is looking for a way to enjoy their vinyl collection just a little longer.
Review: Background Growing up I had a record player that was integral to a stereo. The whole stereo cost about $50 in the late 80's. Then when I went away to school my grandmother was parting with her early 1970's stereo. It had a built in changer for ...

Epinions Works Great

by  pythas,  Jul 30, 2007
Pros: Doesn't need a Pre-Amp. Plugs into anything really. Shuts off by itself. Runs smooth.
Cons: You Get what you pay for.
Review: Well, it isnt the ReVox my dad runs by any means. But if you're a college student, or a high school student, and you're running vinal from the local second-hand store, or even the new stuff they sell at Newberry Comics (I play both), then this will get ...

Epinions works, but not great

by  rustof,  Sep 30, 2005
Pros: ease of use, style
Cons: vibration, assembly
The Bottom Line: NO, The vibration issue stops me from truly enjoying my records. I would find a different player.
Review: I started buying records a couple of years ago. Then I used a 1970's Voice of Music portable record player. This was adequate but didn't produce a full sound, it also was monaural only. I decided that I needed an upgrade. I looked around and found ...

Epinions Don't waste your time.

by  kph_hebert,  Jul 26, 2006
Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Player does not keep a constant speed.
Review: I would not suggest this player to anyone. I really like the SONY brand but I was very disappointed in this product. The only problem with the player is that it doesn't keep a constant speed which causes the pitch to bend. Personally I only like key ...
