How does PC-105 feels in the palm.

I have read many reviews about this compact camcorder.And all the reviews have one thing in common,that is the zoom controller is difficult to operate and reach.Its too small,etc.
I think that,to most of the writers its customary to feel that,because they are used to the the previous cameras with bigger and might be well positioned zoom controller.I have never used a camcorder before so dont know exactly how a good zoom controller should be.But when I tried this little equipment on my palm I felt that everything is quite well positioned and even to hold this compact vertical camera is less strainfull than box type because you dont have to bend your wrist upward while pointing the camera at the subject,rather your hand wrist stays more comfertable bent downwards by the weight of the camera itself,which is just about a pound.The concept of the way we hold a box type or horizontal camera is based and originated from the previous old cameras which were comparitively much more heavier than today's miniDV camcorders.
Coming back to the zoom controller, I personally feel that design of making it small is sincerely thought out and not just casual.If we see and feel carefully while operating the controller we will notice that our finger touches the controller as well as the pocket walls around it which helps in putting our little input to the small and sensitive controller more precise and effortless without putting much strain on the whole finger.That means you can actually rest your fore finger on the pocket wall gently.If it would have been made big It will not be easy to precisely control our inputs because it is very sensitive.
Since the compact vertical camcorders are different in design so they seem to be awkward in holding and handling it to the people who are used to box type and horizontal design camcorders.So the whole point is the design and weight of the equipment which decides the way we should hold it.
