Absolutely AMAZING!

After my previous Walkman broke, I needed to replace it. I researched here on epinions and planned on buying the Sony DF-200 model. When I went to the store, the TV and Weather bands on the D-FJ401 model caught my eye. It was a bit more expensive, but well worth it!

The sound is AMAZING!!!! The best I've ever heard, and the headphones included are very nice. There's not much difference between the modern $20 Sony headphones I used with the old player and the Sony Walkman headphones included with this player. The Radio and TV recieves most stations very well. As soon as I took it out of the packaging, I was able to get a CD playing within seconds. It's so easy to use and the buttons are very nice! To open the player, you slide the OPEN button, but the top does not automatically pop open. Instead, you must slightly lift the top. I like this because if the OPEN button gets pushed while in my backpack, the CD will not get damaged. Another feature I found by experimenting is that you're able to plug 2 different headphone sets into it! Plug one into the headphone jack, and one into the LINE OUT jack, and you and your friend can listen together! And of course, it's very small so I can fit it in my purse!

All in All, I am VERY pleased with this Walkman! It has the best sound I've ever heard no matter what type of music is playing, it's extremely easy to use, and has many great features! The price was a bit beyond what I was looking for, but I can always work extra days, right?

UPDATE: 2/6/03

I've been having trouble with the radio/TV/weather presets lately. I turned it on 2 days ago to find that my presets had been erased. When I try to set a station as a preset, it confirms that it does it. Then, I go to another station, then back to the preset I made, and it's gone! Everything else works fine, so I plan on returning it and trying another one of the same model. I'll report back how that one works once I get it!
