Great camera

If you are a user who is between professional and amateur photographer, you might consider this camera. I love photography but I am not a professional photographer. I do care a lot about picture quality and colors. When I was given a Konica-Minolta p&s camera as a gift, I was very disappointed because its color was very dull, and the display was always blurr. The camera itself was terrible.

Thus when I got my Sony DSC-W90 from Sony Rewards, I was greatly comforted by its vivid color and great picture quality. I also own a digital SLR--canon digital rebel. Even that D-SLR doesn't have as vivid colors as my new Sony camera. Also, with the new fact-detection technology, you know you can get the faces to look sharp in your pictures.

Not only does it have great color and picture quality, its body design is also very good.. The body is sleek and slim, light-weighted. The display screen is big, but battery life is satisfactory. The different buttons come with simple explanations of their functions on the screen when you roll them. So without user manual, you still can use the camera with great ease. I consider it very user-friendly.

I also love the fact that the memory card and battery slots are covered by the same slit. It makes it easier for the user to know where to go.

The only problem I have with this camera is its steady-shot function, which doesn't quite seem to work in my pictures. Especially at night or low light environment, the pictures sometimes turn out blurred unless you have a VERY steady hand. I am not sure whether it's me having not figured out how to make the best use of it in low light condition or not, but this is the only problem I have with this camera.
