Not exactly what I expected

I was looking to upgrade the stereo in my 07 Toyota Corolla. I have Infinity Kappa speakers installed. It has the six speaker system, with the front having a tweeter installed on the door by the rearview mirror. With this Sony I have to almost turn off the front speakers to get any bass at all. the DSO system just seems to distort the sound. The equalizer seems to change the sound somewhat but cannot deliver the warm sound I want and it is not easy to listen to . If it only had a bass and treble control it may be a great cd player. I may add a small self powered sub woofer under the seat. I would not buy another one but the sound it does deliver is very clean. It is also very easy to use.
