Pros: Battery life, tag reading, superior anti-skip
Cons: low battery life for normal CDs
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this MP3/CD player to anyone who wants quality playback, ease of use, and likes keeping their money.
Review: I have the version with the gray cover instead of the Coke one, but it's exactly the same otherwise. I love how it shows full MP3 tags in a logical way. It also has a great search feature so that if you have a large quantity of MP3s on the disc you can...

Pros: Durability and skip-protection, ease of use for regular cds
Cons: Mp3 playback is difficult to configure
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent cd player for typical playback, but if you want an mp3 cd player, avoid it! Mp3 playback is not well developed. Great skip protection, though.
Review: I had the Rio SP50 cd player for probably about a year and a half and enjoyed almost the entire time. I have much praise for this cd player and a little grief to air out so let´s get started... Ease of use: I found the SP50 to be very easy to ...

Pros: Price, Appearance, Battery Life, Functional, etc.
Cons: Cover is kinda weak and may break off easily, had trouble playing regular CD's
The Bottom Line: I believe this is the best MP3/CD Player out there. Especially at it's price.
Review: First of all, I highly recommend this model compared with most other MP3/CD players. Why?
1. It is cheaper than almost all of the ones I've seen 2. It looks better than 99% of them (why are so many MP3/CD players soooo nasty... |

Pros: Good Price/Car Adapter Cassette and Charger included/Lock feature.
Cons: No tuner/ Battery Life less compared to higher priced models. Poor quatlity head phones.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend buying it at a price less than 50$.
Review: I just got the player for just 29$ after all rebates from Good Guys. I started playing with normal CDs and without using the ESP function it would just skip with slight movements. After I turned on the ESP it worked great without
skipping anything... |

Pros: Great Battery Life, Clear Display, Good dollar value, feature packed.
Cons: Lack of backlight, cheap plastic housing, sometimes slow mp3 access, poor headphones.
The Bottom Line: Overall for $40-$60 you can't beat it.. The Volt is feature packed, reliable, and versatile!!
Review: The Rio Volt SP50 / C is a great deal for someone who wants to playback both audio CD's and MP3's burned to CD. (This review is for the SP 50, the "C" just means the unit has a coke design on the lid.) First the features of the SP50: If you record mp3...

Pros: Plays MP3 CD's
Cons: Slow fast forward, manual track skip, poor battery life, seems big & heavy
The Bottom Line: Poorly designed controls, OK sound, poor battery life, but probably cheap. If you're serious about your digital music, consider one of the Net MD recorders.
Review: I like listening to old radio shows so bought a few CD's full of old shows in MP3 format. Transferri ...

Pros: Good Clear Sound, Nice Large LCD, acceptable navigation
Cons: Coke Shill motif, Flimsy, crappy Ear-bud phones
The Bottom Line: Ok if you want a cheap player, but it's not a gift item, and I can't recommend it to friends. Add a few $ to replace the phones.
Review:
Styling
The plain SP50 is just a boring grey block, but plastering softdrink advertising and charging a few bucks more is just wrong.

Pros: This was a good player for the money.
Cons: The body has a very flimsy feel.
The Bottom Line: Stay away from this product and possibly any Sonic product. Because if you have a problem they won't respond.
Review: Navigation to find music selections is very difficult.
The software could have been designed to allow easier use. Too many times this unit would stop playing for no reason. I tried to figure out why it would stop. Even though I had good... |
