Epinions Dramatic Sound for a very good price

by  drwombat,  Dec 30, 2004
Pros: Weight, foldability, case, great bass, great sound quality.
Cons: Folding can be difficult in a hurry with wrapping the cord.
Review: Prior to getting these headphones, I did a lot of research. I looked at earbuds (which I hate from a comfort standpoint), folding in-ear headphones (which I found had no bass), standard foam-cushioned headphones (also, no bass, and felt loose) ... I ...

Epinions Buy these first, then skimp on the player

by  allanleonard,  Jul 28, 2004
Pros: Excellent value for high quality sound.
Cons: Long cord sometimes inconvenient.
Review: What a wonder piece of audio kit! This will vastly improve your enjoyment of whatever quality playback device you use--cheap or state-of-the-art. Sennheiser is the standard headphone supplier for top DJs and recording professionals, and for good ...

Epinions The best closed headphones for portable audio.

by  excaliburn,  Oct 30, 2004
Pros: Clear sound, good volume, great carrying case, lightweight.
Cons: Tricky to seal to ears, needs a bit of bass boost.
Review: Trust me on this. I own 12 different sets of headphones, including several sets of noise-canceling headphones. For the price, you can't beat these. The fit is comfortable, though you will have to play with them a bit to get them to seal correctly. ...

Epinions Earbuds, be gone!

by  prfstars,  Jan 15, 2007
Pros: Sound quality, comfort
Cons: Very confusing to fold and store.
The Bottom Line: Never stuff anything into your ear that's smaller than your elbow.
Review: For the first three years I used an iPod, I used the little white earbuds that Apple bundled with it. I never used my iPod very often, and never for more than half an hour or so at a time at the gym. When my old iPod died and I got my new ...

Epinions A Better Headphone - But Not Necessarily Great Ones

by  martytdx,  Jan 17, 2006
Pros: Good sound, comfortable, good noise cancellation, great case
Cons: folding design has flaws, cord could be longer.
The Bottom Line: If you're willing to spend more money but not necessarily $150 , these are a good, compact pair of headphones.
Review: This Xmas, I got a few nice gifts from my parents - including a new set of headphones for my iPod/PC/stereo. I was looking for a decent pair that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and had picked up a pair of Sony MDR-Q22LP headphones to replace the failing ...

Epinions Great sound for the price!

by  nightwolf27,  Jul 16, 2004
Pros: Good sound for the price. Foldable, very light and portable.
Cons: Construction a little sketch. Tradeoff in sound for closed design.
The Bottom Line: If you need a pair of headphones to enjoy your tunes while getting to work or school, you'll be more than happy with the portability and sound of these.
Review: I picked these up a few months ago because my Grado SR-60's just didn't work for commuting. I got them for around $50US everything in, which is a steal considering they retail for $100CAN before tax. My primary purpose in getting these was for ...

Epinions Great Sound Great Price

by  frredva,  Oct 17, 2005
Pros: Lightweight, Good Sound
Cons: Carry Case is difficult to reload
Review: Excellent set of headphones! I bought these because I travel a great deal and need something good for long plane flights. These really fit the need. Only problem is that the case is hard to use. When I put the phones back in the chord has slack ...

Epinions Worth the $$$$$

by  zuckermania,  Jan 24, 2004
Pros: portability, sound quality, comfort for portable phones
Cons: expensive, tend to be a little tight
Review: These headphones cost a lot for portable cans, but they work real well. To me (your regular college student that's not a millionaire audiophile or anything) they sound even better then my $30 Koss over the ear headphones. I'm in the Coast Guard so I ...

Epinions Sennheiser PX200

by  seidhepriest,  Dec 21, 2007
Pros: Foldable, efficient, carry case with cable manager.
Cons: Awful, unbalanced sounding.
The Bottom Line: A disgrace for the house of Sennheiser. There're much better choices: AKG K-26P, K-27i, Denon AH-D550.
Review: The PX200 certainly look better than they sound. Those are small, mini-size, supra-aural (against-the-ear) headphones. Sealed. With miniature cushions, which seem to be the part of design that is flawed. First off, the part that usually worries ...
