Epinions For $59 you can't go wrong.

by  pac2109,  Mar 24, 2007
Pros: Great sound. Works great.
Cons: A little tough to read the display while outdoors.
Review: Love this thing. I rarely get excited about all the neat little toys out there but this one I love. It has a great sleek look and it sounds good too. It has a built in USB plug so no worrying about where that little cable went. Just plug into your USB ...

Epinions Just OK

by  onator123,  Jan 2, 2008
Pros: Size, sound, includes FM tuner.
Cons: Requires recharging on a computers USB, not convenient.
Review: This is the second Sandisk MP3 player in the house. First one was a m240 which I recommend over this model. Only reason being that this model requires that you recharge the battery using your USB connection on a computer. Just not convenient! Includes a ...

Epinions Great Little Device - Badly Programmed

by  lifewillbeok,  Aug 3, 2008
Pros: Great Sound, very affordable, optional MicroSD card slot
Cons: Badly programmed, FM tuner options are decent
The Bottom Line: I do recommend it, affordable and works great, regardless of the messed up programming.
Review: The Sansa Express may seem very flashy and simple, but there are many pros and cons to the little device. To begin with, the sound is pretty awesome, though the headphones that come with it are not too great. There are many presets that come with the ...

Epinions Uh-Oh, Not Again

by  rquad,  Jun 28, 2007
Pros: Features, construction
Cons: Poor documentation, poor tech support, doesn't shuffle songs
The Bottom Line: Better than most. May be the best for music only. Docs and support are terrible, though.
Review: NOTE: This is an updated review Why did I Want an MP3 Player Probably unlike most others, my sole intention for an MP3 player was a replacement for my car stereo. For one reason or another I've always ended up with a vehicle lacking a ...

Epinions Great player, if you don't have any problems

by  notso,  Sep 23, 2007
Pros: small, FM radio, expandability w/micro SD card-if you don't do the firmware upgrade
Cons: Sandisk support, buggy firmware upgrades, Sandisk support and Sandisk support
The Bottom Line: Avoid this player! If you have any problems and have to contact support, you will be sorry.
Review: When I first bought this player I thought that it was great. I used it to work out and had no issues with it. Then I had to go and try to fix something that was not broken and broke it instead. I installed the software to update the firmware ...

Epinions Like a cigarette-- small and hazordous to your patience.

by  tjhassecrets,  Jun 27, 2008
Pros: Good array of formats, PC and Mac compatible
Cons: Poorly designed controls, bad sound quality, no wall charger
The Bottom Line: AVOID. There are much better players for the price!
Review: I've always liked Sansa players. Usually they pack incredible sound quality, a good number of fully functional features and options, and are simple to use. I was wholeheartedly disappointed in this shiny, mirrored rectangle that claims to be an mp3 ...

Epinions 1GB? Not if it won't stay connected.

by  onebrightgator,  Oct 19, 2007
Pros: Small, sleek and easily expandable.
Cons: USB charging, did not connect to computer
Review: I bought this to use in my car with a FM transmitter, for traveling and just general use. I thought it would fit in great between my cheapo 128MB I use for working out and my larger sized 30GB. Initially I thought the USB charging would be great, but ...

Epinions Planned Obsolescence

by  jag-man,  Jul 7, 2007
Pros: None
Cons: Why pay that much for something unusable in two years ? Speak with your wallet.
Review: Unfortunately, for the eight people and more who have already bought one of these, according to SanDisk there is no replacement battery for this player. So, the $50~$60 you spent will be gone in two to four years (again, according to SanDisk). Next time, ...
