Very happy with this printer.

I just bought my SCX-4725 yesterday and am really happy with this purchase. Installation was easy--the printer comes with two printer driver CDs for XP (and 2 for Vista). One CD is regular drivers and one for postscript printing. Put the CD for regular drivers in first and installed no problem, then the same for postscript drivers (guess you use the postcript drivers for certain fonts--after both are installed they show up as separate printers when you get a print dialog box--in Wordperfect for example. I'm just using the regular drivers now and everything works good).

I had read some reviews about some of the other Samsung printers printing slower than the stated speed, but the SCX-4725 seems really fast. Was using an older ink jet all- in-one before--rated at 19ppm. When printing with the old printer in normal mode and even some in draft mode, definitely noticed the wait as the print head went back and forth across the page and the page printed out. With the SCX-4725 seems like a full page of text just spits right out. Definitely a big and very noticeable increase in speed. Didn't expect to notice that much of a difference going from 19 to 24ppm. Guess I'll have to wait to see how everything holds up--ADF etc. Been using toner save mode--which is nice, and print quality looks very good to me. I was a little worried when I saw some reviews about slow print speed for Samsungs after I had already bought the printer, but am very happy with the printer now. Forgot to mention--it seems to crinkle the envelope a little (not much) when printing an envelope-- haven't figured out yet how to stop that.
