Inexpensive All in one great value

I chose this AIO (all-in-one) because of the Network capability and the low price. $199 after $80 rebate.
Installation of software was a little confusing. It came with 5 CD's.
1 CD was marked for Post Script,
1 CD was marked for PCL6
1 CD was marked for Vista Post Script
1 CD was marked for Vista PCL6
1 CD was marked for Network Management
I put in the Windows CD that was for Post Script printer, and the install went fine on my Windows XP computer.

Next I installed the CD that allows you to set the IP address of the printer, so I used it.
I set up the printer's IP address and the printer worked.
Later after a reboot of my computer and power on/off of the printer, it wouldn't print.
I researched the manual from the CD.
I went into the setup on the front panel of the AIO and set the IP address there in the manual mode.
It started printing again.
Good print quality.
Now, let's scan something.
I spent about 30 minutes trying different things and never got the scanner to work over my pc.
I thought I must need to install the second Windows CD so I installed the PCL6 CD.
Now I have PCL6 and postscript installed, but NO SCANNING over the network to my PC.
Finally called tech support (yes, it is in the middle east) and after the tech support person finally understood what I was asking (I had to repeat it 5 times so what he read matched what I said EXACTLY, and DON'T interrupt him, because he will restart each and every time!).
Anyway, turns out you have to use the USB cable for scanning.
It WON'T scan over the network.
I think I will keep it a few more days before I make my final decision to keep it, but for now I am happy. Staples has a 15 day return policy.
The toner cartridge will do 3000 copies at a cost of 69.99 to 85.00. At 69.99 that makes copies about 2 cents each. Very reasonable. The HP AIO I was considering had a 69.99 toner cart. but only yields 2000 copies making it 3.5 cents per copy.
One other thing, I worry about being able to find toner for this AIO. Our Staples has an INK Guarantee on this model. If they don't have the toner in stock, they will give you $10 off your next toner cart.
