Epinions Best portable action CCG ever?

by  32_Footsteps, lead in Games ,  Dec 6, 2004
Pros: Continues the story well, incredible graphics
Cons: Card point rewards aren't balanced, allies aren't always there
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't suppose that, after 5 years, I could be forgiven for foregoing this part?
Review: Perhaps one of the more refreshing surprises I have had recently in video gaming was the first Kingdom Hearts for the Playstation 2. Part of what made the game click was the crisp battles. Part of it was the delightfully dour mood, bordering on ...

Epinions Kingdom Hearts 2: Chain of Memories - One of the best RPG games out there

by  ambereyes,  Jan 13, 2005
Pros: Excellent storyline. Short 'films' are nicely animated
Cons: Borrows a few things from the original game, including music and sound effects.
Review: This has been one of the best RPG games I have ever played. The underlying plot is rather predictable, but still exciting to play nonetheless. A little pixelated-looking (it's gameboy, after all) but not that bad ...

Epinions Chians of frustration???

by  tommy_lop,  Jan 31, 2005
Pros: a great game that copies the look and fell of the orginal
Cons: but it has frustrating card system
The Bottom Line: more spikey haired freaks.
Review: I got Kingdom Hearts chains of memory when it came out, and I just beat it yesterday, to say that the new Ki ngdom Hearts isn’t has engaging has it's PS2 counterparts is true. But if your looking for an RPG for the ...

Epinions Locked in my Memory

by  flinkys,  Jan 16, 2005
Pros: Beautiful graphics/sound, interesting way to continue plot
Cons: Card battling repetitive, haven't we seen this before?
The Bottom Line: It has a wonderful game play and replay value -- but I feel like I am experiencing some sort of deja vu.
Review: It all started back in 2002, when the unlikely pair of Square and Disney created Kingdom Hearts. With the idea engraved within the minds of many that it would be a ‘kiddy’ roleplaying experience, thanks to it’s Disney half, who would have ...

Epinions Sora:"Haven't I done this before?....Oh well!"

by  nkretz,  Jan 13, 2005
Pros: Graphics, card battling, great sound, some new characters
Cons: Same Disney levels and it's too much of a rehash of KH
The Bottom Line: For anyone that wants a good GBA game and there are not too many out now then don't pass up Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Review: I'll admit I like this game and I'm sure everyone else out there who liked Kingdom Hearts will like this game too. Some may even love it. I'll say it's good but not great. Sora is on practically the same adventure he was in the spectacular 3D adventure ...
