WEll its not Gran Turismo I cay say. The game is like straight from the arcade same setup and graphics look exactly the same. You couldn't tell it was from the arcade because it looks so good and just like the arcade.
Well let me tell you about the game now. Ridge Racer V its the first game I bought when I bought my Playstation 2. The graphics are really good. This is probably one of the first and best racing game you can buy for the Ps2 right now. There is not that many picks of cars though, theres only about 5 cars to choose from but they better when you beat races and the car gets faster with a new engines called extra for more speed and oval enginges for real fast racers and good racers. And you can use the old controller from the regular Playstation one, even the old dual shock controller. It shakes but not as good as the dual shock 2.
The kind of races it has are Gran Prix to race with other cars to compete to win the victory. Free run just to drive by yourself to test your car out. And time attack to try to beat your own racing time when you raced from the Grap prix. Later on in the game you will be able to race pac man cars and new cars for winning.
Game difficulty: easy-medium in some things
hours of play: as long as you like to race!!!!
extra stuff: yes more than just the 5 cars
