the funnest Wii game we own

When we first purchased the Wii, of course, we thought the sports games were pretty great and a lot of fun. But, Rayman Rabbids has an odd little story to it. That story alone is enough to cause giggles from all age groups. The Rayman-napping rabbits are hysterical. Whether dancing in a John Travolta type disco floor or on a beach to their radios, the game can be challenging yet do-able. Each person in our family has a different favorite and a “Ugh, I hate this level” game. There is just absolutely nothing boring about Rayman Rabbids…nothing. There are several different games that can be played with each different levels of difficulty. Sometimes, we found if the game was too difficult, one of the kids would hold the Wii stick while one held the numchuck. This made some of the more difficult games (jumping rope and turning the rope) easier to accomplish.
Unfortunately, although the box says that it’s more than a single person game, you have to play quite a while through one setting before “unlocking” the dual games and even then, it may be one player plays after another. It would be quite fun for the kids to be able to challenge each other throughout the game rather than their scores.
This is our favorite Wii game. Kids are ages 9 and 11, but the adults love it too.Although there may be a perception of violence, for some reason, rabbits getting knocked out by toilet plungers hardly seems comparable to the shoot-em-up violence of other games...it's just silly and fun.
