Epinions Not just coffee!

by  Prncess,  Apr 1, 2000
Pros: small, self-storing cord, inexpensive, versatile
Cons: none
Review: I am not a big coffee drinker but enjoy a cup now and then of gourmet coffee. I do love the smell of freshly ground coffee beans.

The main reason I even needed a coffee grinder was so I could grind grains. Having recently gone on...

by  syco_tech,  May 24, 2007
Pros: WIFI, Enhanced Voice Dialing, Nice screen, everything you need in a business phone.
Cons: Backlight bug - requires a firmware update. Was not able to do it.
The Bottom Line: If you want a powerfull phone with all the features, and don't need a camera or radio get this phone.
Review: Features: Bluetooth, IR, WIFI, GSM, UMTS(3G), USB, VOIP, Browser, Nice Screen. Enhanced Voice Dialling: This feature is amazing, does take a little getting used to since it recognizes all the contacts in your address book to dial a call, unlike the ...

Epinions I loved it so much, 2 years later I got one for my parents!

by  jfreiman,  Feb 6, 2005
Pros: Works for years (3 ?), retractable cord, simple use.
Cons: None, I found and bought the same model for my parents.
Review: I've owned this coffee grinder for nearly 3 years now and love it. I have not had any problems with it. To be honest, I do not pull out and/or retract the cord. For me, I leave it out about 7 inches and keep it there. The performance is wonderful and ...

Epinions Great for Flax Seeds!

by  starboard1,  Apr 6, 2005
Pros: Flax seed wonder, inexpensive, small unobtrusive size, easy to clean and use
Cons: Blades might not be up to the task of handling coffee beans?
Review: I tried several options for grinding flax seeds - even one by hand sure to bring on carpal tunnel syndrome before I discovered this little gem. I don't drink coffee but would think the light weight of the blades and the small capacity might not stand up ...

Epinions After The Grinding Disaster, The E160B Restores My Faith In Coffee Grinders!

by  wlswarts,  Oct 17, 2007
Pros: Generally easy to clean, Durable, Easy to use/intuitive, Stores easily, Small, Color
Cons: Parts are slightly difficult to clean, Still no stainless steel, Price
The Bottom Line: I've begun a new relationship with an old style coffee grinder, this time in a color I can tolerate, even with the new price!
Review: For those who do not check out my infrequent Home and Garden reviews, I am a coffee nut! I love coffee and I'm always thrilled when I get to grind my own. Coffee is one of my few true vices, but I accept it as part of my all-liquid eating disorder, ...

Epinions pretty darn good for the money

by  porgy,  Aug 26, 2003
Pros: quiet, grinds coffee beans well, & it's cheap!
Cons: small capacity, a bit messy, plastic parts break easily
The Bottom Line: If you want a low-cost grinder that is quieter than most and you only need to grind a small amount of beans, this is a darn good unit.
Review: For small amounts of coffee (or grains) this is a great grinder for the price. It is much quieter th ...

Epinions I love this little Proctor Silex Fresh Grind Coffee Mill E160B

by  tink0952,  Aug 7, 2004
Pros: Cheap and holds the cord for storing it inside the grinder.
Cons: none really
Review: I bought this Proctor Silex Fresh Grind Coffee Mill E160B because I had heard that grinding your own coffee beans will make a better tasting cup of coffee. That is correct about this grinder. Unlike the other people who have rated the grinder. I have had ...

Epinions Spend a little more and get a better unit.

by  connell10,  Jan 19, 2003
Pros: It is inexpensive.
Cons: It works like it is cheap.
The Bottom Line: This grinder works, but it could be a lot better. Loud operation that results in unevenly ground coffee. Still, it tastes better than store ground.
Review: I actually do not own this grinder, but one of my best friends does. We both make coffee often when we are hanging out, and I use his grinder when I am over at his house. My standard of comparison is an inexpensive Krups grinder that is in the same...

Epinions PROCTOR SILEX COFFEE MILL GRINDER : IT SPIT THE GRINDS AT ME!

by  phineaskc,  Oct 14, 2000
Pros: Price; customer service
Cons: Poor Quality ; faulty pieces
The Bottom Line: is that Proctor Silex has made affordable appliances but the old 'you get what you pay for' has rang true with this particular product.
Review: I purchased this product with a gift certificate that I had earned online so it was basically free but regardless, I do have some complaints about the performance of this grinder.

This is the Fresh Grind Coffee Mill from Proctor-Silex and the...

Epinions Not so good....

by  pelaged,  Nov 20, 2004
Pros: The wind-up cord is great, especially if you put the grinder away frequently.
Cons: Dull blade. On/Off button doesn't work well.
Review: I've had this coffee grinder for about 3 years, so I would say that it performed better for me than for some of the other reviewers here. The only reason it's been around so long is that I'm very stubborn and decided to use the grinder until it refused ...
