I researched portable DVD players to take on long car rides with my son, who is still in his car seat. This one has been perfect for me. It is easy to operate, and fits nicely on the headrest using the case that comes with it. My son has a good view of the video that is playing, which is helped by the 10" screen size. The sound is adequate. I also purchased a larger carrying case with pockets to hold the cables that come with it. Another nice feature is the remote control, which allows me to operate from the front seat.
