Author's Review

Ever since my little brother owned this Pokemon pinball game, I've become hooked to it. I would even play it 'til 2 am!!! Because I've been enjoying this game a lot, let me tell you one thing bad happened. You see, my little brother likes to get a high score. Finally, he got a high score on the red field. Because of this, I was really motivated to play more and more until I got to enter the Mewtwo stage. I never realized I got a high score, and I beat my little brother's score! I was then the number one player on the red field (blue field, too!). Because of this, my little brother really kept playing the game but couldn't surpass my score (would you believe he even cried?). Finally, after days of struggles, I realized my little brother reset the game!! All of the datas were gone!! I was really mad, but I couldn't do anything because it's his Gameboy. Darn! Of course, I had to revenge.........and the result? Of course, I got better scores than before, and little brother still can't beat me until now. I told him once he reset the game again, I would not talk to him. Now he can't reset the game. Laugh out loud! Now let's move on to the game itself.

The game is very creative because it's not a usual pinball game. We know that pinball is just to get a high score, and that's it. With this Pokemon pinball game, you have to catch the basic pokemon, and you have to evolve them! That's the fun part! You might think it's easy to catch all of 'em, but it's hard to get some pokemon because you don't just stay in one field. There are two fields which are blue and red. Blue has its own certain numbers of pokemon. Same thing with the red field. Moreover, There are many places to explore like Cerulean City, Vermilion city, and each of the place has its own numbers of selected pokemon. Such a difficult task to do yet challenging. What also I like from this game is BALL SAVED. Usually, the Ball save icon appears for like 30 seconds. Once the ball falls off, the ball is saved; therefore, you don't miss a ball. Instead, it will re-shoot. Aside from this interesting idea, there is a slot icon whenever you light four mini balls. Once you light all of 'em, the slot icon appears, and you shoot your ball there. Then you have choices like 30 seconds ball saver, Big bonuses, bonus stages, and many more. At first, you might get confused because of complicated things to explore, but once you're used to it, you will never stop. To think, you have to catch and evolved all of the 150 pokemons, and many of them are even rare! Going from place to another is hard, too, because you have to hit a certain pokemon three times to move the map. So, aren't you still curious about the game? Believe me, you will love this game over and over again, but don't forget to scream because screaming is fun and exciting! LOL!
