Pokemon Blue ties with yellow has far has the 3 versions go. If Yellow did not have better graphics during battle and wasn’t a bit more challenging blue would win hands down.

Red, blue, and yellow plot are basically all a like (except in yellow you get a pikachu). Except in blue your character name is Gary in the pre named list and your rival name is Ash. Besides that major characteristic the plot is the same.

Better Pokemon in blue
I like the blue one the best because it has better Pokemon then the red. The only Pokemon found in the red that was probably worth anything was Oddish. Oddish and it's evolved forms is a little bit more powerful then bellsprot and it's evolved forms has far attacks go. But with Bellsrpot has two moves not to be missed Poison powder and Wrap. This is a lethal combination while poison powder and wrap don't to much on there own you can poison an enemy and then wrap it and watch has both posion and wrap work your enemy's heath points down to 0. Yellows can get both of these grass Pokemon.

Blue also has mewoth it's the only version that can get him. Now has far has stats go he's no better then ratta but he does learn pay day and is the only one that can do it without TM. And only being in blue your friends will defiantly want to trade with you.

Graphics.
The graphics in red and blue are look alike Zelda type graphics. The battle graphics are a par lower in red and blue then they are in yellow but they are still better then the over world scenes.

Sounds
The sounds are equal in all 3 games the over world music is great and will get your toe tapping. The battle music has a little less to be desired and you will be thankful with the exception of gym leader fights that most battles only take a couple of minutes.

Game play.
Don't play this game inless you have a few hours free cause it's addictive and will take up all your time. Another great thing about pokemon GB games is they are two players so you can raise your pokemon to battle friends instead of just the computer.
