Good sound, lousy design

I used the 665 for about 10 months until recently. The USB charger was great, and the sound quality was very good. Price was high, but I needed something higher end to use as I am on the phone a fair bit.

Biggest problem was the flimsy 5 cent ear loop. The phone is difficult to fit properly with out the ear loop to keep it snug. My ear loop broke about two weeks ago ... and Plantronics will not replace the item (which I am sure is very inexpensive) as it is "not covered by warranty". So, a $150 earset "downgraded" by a cheap piece of plastic.

Also, the ear loop constantly caused the unit to "dis-assemble", that is it would force off the earbud which sat in front of it .. not good.

Without the ear loop, I was using it just by using the earbuds and inserting into my ear. Well, that did not last long. Getting out of my car the other day ... it fell out of my ear and down a sewer grate. So, a $150 unit went down the drain ... literally. No response yet from Plantronics despite claims they respond within 24 hours.

So, despite the decent quality (although short battery life) I would NOT recommend this.
