Great headset... Until it falls apart on you!

I purchased this headset when it first came out and used it extensively for more than 6-months, everyday couple of times a day taking phone calls in the office and outside on busy city streets. The headset performed very well, it was a bit quiet during the louder times on the street when cars and buses were going by but overall the incoming and outgoing sound quality was very good. I could hear quite well and people heard me very clearly.

I was very happy with this headset until it began to age a little. Firstly this headset requires a holder to keep it inside and this holder started cracking on the side from everyday usage. The holder required a snap-on bottom to connect it to a charger, either mini-USB, proprietary Plantronics, or a battery case. The plastic tips on the snap-on mini-USB tip started to wear out and the tip would always fall off the holder at the slightest touch.

The silicon ear-piece on the headset itself is only secured by friction pressure and after a few months the cheap plastic tips on the ear-piece started to wear out and ear-piece would disconnect from the headset itself constantly. The little metal-and-plastic ear loop piece was also not held down or connected to the headset so this also worn out and fell apart.

After only a few months of usage the entire contrapcion would fall apart at the slightest touch or bump whether in a pants or shirt pocket, or worse yet when on the ear. The bottom from the holder would fall out, the ear piece would fall out, and the ear loop would just come off. I was then required to put the entire headset back together anytime a phone call would come in. All the friction contact pieces were worn out and nothing was sticking together anymore. To many moving and independent pieces caused the whole thing to come apart.

Then one day many months after dealing with this disgrace-of-engineering I decided to take it all and glue it together so it would never fall apart, at the expense of never being able to change the position of the pieces but before I got to doing this I lost the ear loop and the ear piece after they came off that one final time.
