Hard to Hear

After learning that my trusty plug-in earpiece was not compatible with my new cell phone, I decided to join the legion of Bluetooth headset wearers out there.

This piece of equipment advertises itself as a "hands free" device, but I have found that I have to press the thing into my ear in order to be able to hear anything out of it. This takes away the option of using the device while driving or any other activity where you don't want to (or can’t) hold a hand up to your ear. Maybe I have a weird shaped ear or something, but I can’t be the only one!

The headset has one switch that serves as both a power button (when you press it down) and a volume toggle (when you move it up or down). This button is surprisingly difficult to use, as there are separate actions depending on how long you depress it.

Though I have found the control button to be quite finicky, I oftentimes find my headset has turned itself when it is in my bag. Perhaps I got a possessed headset...

Charging the headset is easy, and takes about an hour or maybe even less to charge.
