Epinions Great Loaves Worth the Bread

by  rfish,  Apr 4, 2000
Pros: Well Build, Easy to Use, Great End Product
Cons: Too easy to have fresh bread all the time (and eat it all the time too)
Review: For years I had heard from all different people that I should own a bread machine. I figured that it would be like any other fad and I'd bake a few loaves and then it would start collecting dust with every other 'nice to have' in the house. I was...

Pros: Healthy, cheap, fast and fun with no artificial additives.
Cons: Easy to get carried away - remember beef jerky bread is NOT tasty!!!
The Bottom Line: If you want additive-free food, the Panasonic Automatic Bread Maker is ideal. Follow the instructions and you wake up to delicious freshly-baked bread.
Review:
I bought this bread maker from my local store because baking bread in the oven was just taking too long. And I'm very glad I did...

by  dkozin,  Jan 25, 2002
Pros: The bread tastes great, easy to use, automatic operation, timer, good manual
Cons: Price
The Bottom Line: If you are overweight, this machine might be a bad idea – the bread it makes is so delicious, you might find yourself eating more ...
Review: I have heard stories about people who got breadmakers and were very happy with them, but it seemed as too much hassle for me to make bread myself. Now I know how wrong I was.

I got a breadmaker for my birthday and, since I got it, I had to use...

Epinions excellent for newbies

by  k9dancer,  Sep 19, 2007
Pros: Ease of operation, lots of features & good value.
Cons: Large machine: at 13 inches tall, it stands higher than my microwave.
The Bottom Line: The most bang for your buck!
Review: This is my first bread machine; I did a lot of research, and found this was the highest in customer satisfaction. I have had it for a week, and have made 4 loaves so far, and each has been excellent. It is very easy to use and clean up. The 13 ...

Epinions Waking up to freshly baked bread

by  polarbear22,  Oct 28, 2008
Pros:  - Timer feature  - Lots of options  - Recipe book included
Cons:  - Blade removal occasionally difficult - Beeping - Can't use timer for dough
The Bottom Line: If you love freshly-baked bread, this is your machine. Although the bread doesn't compare to fresh baguettes from Paris boulangeries, it's more delicious than store-bought bread.
Review: I would make two loaves a day just to keep the kitchen smelling like freshly baked bread! I purchased this machine, the Panasonic SD-YD250,  for my parents because it is going to be kept in a vacation home in location where a loaf of regular ...

by  T.Rob,  Sep 16, 2000
Pros: Easy, automatic, makes great bread
Cons: LCD a little hard to read
Review: Our Panasonic bread maker was not our first – but it may be our last! The first bread maker was a Christmas present and by the following Christmas we had exchanged it no less than 5 times. Finally the store agreed to refund my money and I went in...

Epinions Do not buy any other bread maker...please!

by  jeliwobble,  May 1, 2007
Pros: Wonderful bread, beautifully cooked, perfect almost every time
Cons: Difficult to clean inside the machine, occasional 'flops'
The Bottom Line: The only bread maker anyone should buy. Try another but, if you buy this one, you won't be disappointed!
Review: A brief history as to why I have entitled this opinion as I have. When my friends were married 7 years ago, they were bought this bread maker (or its earlier version, the SD) by her parents. We spent a couple of summers round their house (they ...

Epinions Better than an alarm clock . . .

by  conradd,  Dec 19, 1999
Pros: Timer function up to 13 hours; excellent quality loaves
Cons: The hot bread tastes so good that there's never any left for sandwiches!
Review: I've had my Panasonic Breadmaker for 4 years and I still use it 3-4 times a week. If I use the timer function to coincide with my son's alarm clock, getting him out of bed is not a problem. He appears in the kitchen for breakfast as soon as he smells...

Epinions Success!

by  Laurawith8,  Nov 19, 2000
Pros: Very simple, great recipes included
Cons: somewhat expensive, but worth it
Review: For years I have lived under the curse of what I thought a homemaker ought to be. You know what I mean, don't you? She spends the day in a lovely, starched, white apron - her hair perfectly coifed, and no stress on her face no matter what the day...

Epinions Smells just like the bread Mom used to bake

by  Cate1956,  Nov 5, 2000
Pros: Bakes your bread without fuss or mess, easy to clean, makes your home smell delicious
Cons: The machine does need to cool before introducing any more yeast to the enviroment
Review: I seldom bake. I buy my pies, and they are always delicious, the frozen cookie dough is a breeze for last minute desserts, and boxed brownies are sometimes tastier than scratch. To consider baking bread would be a travesty to a woman who prides herself...
