Design
The camera has Clean-cut, familiar, and very fitting suitable design. A compact body, with slightly rounded corner design is just perfect as a portable digital camera. I bought silver one, though I was puzzled which color should I choose between silver and blown. Both of color, I think very good colors. Black type is more luxury than other two though. In Japan, the camera is called “Princes camera” because of the thinness. The camera is thinner than I expected. It is as thin as my cell phone.

Quality
Compared to the previous digital camera (4 megapixel) which belongs to my father, the quality is commensurate with the number of pixels. Letting standard setting (the initial value of all Auto) work in indoor and outdoor scene, it seemed unavoidable to come out dark. The darkness or lack of brightness that I felt might be a natural picture, though a bit dissatisfied. However, except for it, the equivalent of pixels to be delicate and beautiful, no noticeable noise passed my criteria. One of the good features of note is wide-angle lens which has range of 28-100mm. Just as I expected, it is a great convenience to have 28mm lens. When I searched a camera, I was a sticker for wide lens. 7.38 megapixel are excellent. 3.6x optical zoom and 14.3x digital zoom. Max movie length is . The camera accepts SD card and SDHC card.

Operation
I am an amateur on how to use a camera, therefore I don’t need so many functions. I think the function is sufficient. Most of the functions in the few buttons can be set to play in devising. I just saw the manual a little, and then the later without the manual operation I operated because of clearness, compact and easy to operate. Power switch is easy to operate and it is a knob type, not bottom one. This point is so good. I could operate it with a single hand. The camera also has camera shake-proof. It prevents the picture from getting automatically fuzzy when I shake camera. This function is a great help to me. Scene settings are massive. There are 20 scene settings and I could choose appropriate one according to situation. They helped me a lot.

Battery
The camera is kind of a standard type as to battery. The manual says 280 copies of the full charge. That was correct in the experience that I have had. It marked batteries 1 / 3 specifications when I took 85 pictures. This has so enough battery and works well that you can carry around on ordinary days. In travel, you should get another battery.

Portability
It is compact. Only in the case you out the camera into tiny handbags, it might disturb you. However, in other cases, the compactness is helpful. The camera is suitable for carrying ordinary days. This is not too small and not too big type.

LCD
What surprises me most is the LCD's brightness. Depending on battery, the brightness of the LCD can be changed. Also, in the very bright outdoor location, the performance is very prominent. Once I am accustomed to the operation, the camera gives me a very convenient and easier to see the necessary information about any interruption to be displayed. It is very convenient.

Overall
Features seemed as good as advertised on TV. I am happy and satisfied with this camera. A year has passed since I bought the camera, but nothing wrong has happened. The original purposes of the "compact and easy to carry, and high-quality, zoom capability" are fully met, overall speaking. I think it was a very good buy because the camera is inexpensive though functions and performance are excellent.
