Epinions Panasonic DVD RV32 / RV 27 / RV22

by  dgeesaman,  Jan 20, 2003
Pros: Plenty of features at a low price
Cons: No MP3 ID3 tag support, no coaxial digital output
The Bottom Line: For the normal consumer audience, this is a decent choice. Enthusiasts or heavy MP3 audio users may prefer a unit without so many quirks.
Review: I purchased this unit over Christmas as a replacement to my Sony DVD unit. The fact that my Sony wouldn't play even CDRs was annoying to say the least, and when I got new speakers the urge got urgent. Shopping at Target because of some store credit,...

Epinions Panasonic DVD RV32

by  dan19,  Jan 20, 2007
Pros: At the time it was released, it was a high end product
Cons: Made to last for max of 2 years for an average user
Review: Another one bites the dust with "H07" error. I had this unit for nearly 5 years. The reason it lasted this long is that it was hardly used. After reading the reviews it is apparent that it is a common problem with this model. I am sure it will ...

Epinions Panasonic DVD-RV32K

by  blackregalgs,  Sep 29, 2003
Pros: Ease of setup, slimline case and easy to read display.
Cons: Failed after 9 months in service.
The Bottom Line: I would urge extreme caution in buying this DVD player. Be prepared to replace it in less than a year.
Review: I am not sure where to begin with this other than to say, I researched several DVD players before purchasing my Panasonic DVD-RV32K in Dec of 2002. Mine was used predominantly for weekend movie viewing with my wife but rarely during the week. Suffice it ...

Review: Had it for about a year. Worked just fine. Then, the H07 error in the middle of a movie. It is dead as dead can be. I won't buy another Panasonic DVD player, and I advise you to stay away from this one! It's a real ...

Epinions H07 error

by  paul68,  Aug 30, 2006
Pros: Well, it worked fine for about a year
Cons: The unit could last longer!!!
Review: The only error was buying this DVD player. It worked great for about a year then just stopped working without warning. I subsequently found out what the error message meant, and that it happens quite often. I was better off with a higher end ...

Epinions Cheap and doesn't last long, not worth your money

by  eychang,  Apr 13, 2004
Pros: Light player, looks sleek
Cons: Dies after using it for 14 months, takes a long time to load a movie
Review: This was a gift and worked great for about 14 months. Movies occasionally skipped or stayed on a scene until you fast forwarded it for awhile.I thought nothing of it and blamed it on the DVD. Then I got the dreaded H07 error and the player stopped in ...

Epinions No more Panasonic for us

by  panasonicsux,  Jul 7, 2005
Pros: works for over a year
Cons: expensive for how long it lasted
Review: My about 2 year old Panasonic died lat night while watching a video, and displayed an "H07" error code. When I Googled "Panasonic DVD H07", it came across thousands of posts about this problem. It looks like it is a fairly common problem. I'll ...

Epinions Worst DVD Player ever bought

by  darkchi,  Dec 27, 2004
Pros: Looks nice...
Cons: Slow start up, doesn't play self made discs eg: vcd's, svcd's, mp3's
Review: Probably the worst DVD player I have owned. Takes far too long to register the disc you've just inserted. Doesn't play any self made discs such as MP3's or video discs... and it's NOT my shoddy PC skills as the discs work on my dvd player upstairs and on ...

Epinions Research Panasonic DVD players before buying

by  consumer1158,  Oct 12, 2004
Pros: Works, kind of.
Cons: Slow command reponses, dies after only a year.
Review: First, before even thinking about buying a Panasonic DVD player, search the internet for "Panasonic H02" or "Panasonic H07". These are the two most common error messages that people get about a year after buying a Panasonic DVD player. Either message ...
