Terrible machines.

Pros:  Good when working.

Cons:  Very unreliable..

Great when they are working. BUT..

The Panasonic DMR-E85H machines worked fine for about 3 years. The PSU seems to have failed on one and the other 'crashed' and now does permanent 'self check'. Looking on-line a lot of folks have had similar probs with these machines and Panasonic don't really want to know.
