My husband and I went in search of a blender after tasting the new frozen coffee drinks at our local Baskin Robins! After tasting these drinks I was in love with them, the thing is they were so expensive! I knew I could come close with the taste of them by making them at home. The only thing I needed was a blender, so off we went to each and every store searching for just the right blender that would be strong enough to chop ice, but also one that would not drain our pockets!
We finally found this blender. I was a little worried because it had a plastic pitcher instead of glass. It has now been almost two years of using the blender and there is not one chip in the pitcher and it still works just as good as it did the first time. We have made many frozen coffee drinks and milkshakes in it.
I chop several full ice cubes at the same time with milk and it does a GREAT job!
I also love the plastic pitcher, because it is so much easier to use than the heavy glass ones. The glass pitchers always seem so heavy to wash...this being plastic is very light and cleans up easy.
I think this is a great blender for normal every day uses.
