Epinions Wii Zapper Zelda = Goodness

by  mrcharlieboi,  Jan 4, 2008
Pros: Very easy to use and makes targeting objects much easier
Cons: Wrapping up the Nunchuck and holding it in some games can be uncomfortable.
The Bottom Line: The Wii Zapper allows you to comfortably hold the wii control like a gun to easily target the objects in certain games. Great Price
Review: The Wii Zapper is a hard molded plastic that fits your Wii remote and Wii Nunchuck firmly. This makes it easy for those to target the objects in the game much easier then holding the remote alone. The Zelda game consists of 9 stages with each stage ...

Epinions Zap Zap Zapping on heaven's door

by  jaysea420,  Feb 8, 2008
Pros: Duel handles, Link's crossbow trainer
Cons: not enough games for it...yet
The Bottom Line: I got it. I like it. I want some more games for it.
Review: The Wii Zapper is a great addition for the Wii system. Granted is doesn't make that cool sound the old gun from my grandpa's nintendo had but I like the duel handles, and hey no cords so that's a plus. The cord surprisingly fits nice into the front of ...

Epinions The wii zapper just isen't has cool has it's 20 year old brother.

by  tommy_lop,  Dec 27, 2007
Pros: it does feel a bit like a gun, Link's corssbow training
Cons: it makes games harder and cramps hands after a while.
The Bottom Line: kill goblins not ducks.
Review: I got the Wii Zapper yesterday for Christmas I have heard good things and bad things about the zapper. Mainly that the Wii zapper is pretty much a lousy paper weight but Link’s Crossbow training is a pretty good game in the style of wii sports and ...

Epinions A Decent Add-On

by  DavidGriffiths,  Dec 3, 2007
Pros: - Improves some games - Links Crossbow Training is a nice addition - Good Price
Cons: - Doesn't work with all games - Design could be better - Not terribly ergonomic
The Bottom Line: If you like shooter-styled games, this is a worth-while addition to your Wii. Otherwise, pass it by.
Review: The original Nintendo (circa 1984) had a cool game called Duck Hunt, in which you shot at the screen with a light-gun (a pistol). And now, twenty-odd years later, we have an updated version for the Wii called the Wii Zapper. The Bundle ...

Epinions Not a bulls-eye, but not far off either

by  green-z,  Dec 9, 2007
Pros: Can add to game realism in "shooter" games; Under $20; included demo game is fun.
Cons: Inelegant design; can hurt game performance in some situations
The Bottom Line: If you play "shooters" the Zapper is a good deal, even if it's not the best design.
Review: There are a few gun holders for the Wii (I call them holders because the Zapper only holds the Wiimote rather than being a self-contained controller like you find for other platforms). And of all the choices the Wii Zapper is definitely the oddest ...

Epinions Fun game, crappy gun

by  cxc273,  Feb 29, 2008
Pros: Excellent Link's Crossbow Training game; low price
Cons: Zapper is horrible ergonomically; fares poorly with rapid firing
The Bottom Line: The Zapper is nothing special, but Link's Crossbow Training is definitely worth the price of admission.
Review: In late 2007, Nintendo debuted the Wii Zapper, a plastic gun accessory that came packaged with a game, Link's Crossbow Training.< Truthfully, the best part about the Wii Zapper isn't the Zapper itself, but Link's Crossbow Training. The game is ...

Epinions It seems fun for a short while

by  anomaly21,  Feb 26, 2008
Pros: A differant way to play Comes with Zelda mini-game
Cons: You actually have less control with it
The Bottom Line: Fun for a little while, Nice to have, Zelda mini game is fun for an afternoon
Review: I purchased this item with the Links Crossbow training, thinking that it would be something that adds value to the games that use it. (Resident Evil UC) The unit is just basically a plastic case that forces you to hold the Wii Remote and nunchuck a ...
