Great portable game system

I finally yielded to purchasing a DS, after years of resisting upgrading yet again.

I had the original Gameboy, the Gameboy Color, the Advance, the Advance SP, and now the DS.

The DS is backwards compatable to Advance cartridges, but not the gameboy color or regular gameboy, so you will need an earlier system to play those.

The graphics are great. If you played the 64bit Mario 64 on the N64 system, you what a great game that is with great graphics. Well, this is the exact same game miniaturized.

The system has a nice ergonomic feel to it, and it has amassed an impressive library of games you can purchase.
It has an organizer built in, and it automatically adjusts for daylight savings time. I believe it even has wireless gaming possibility built-in, but I'm not sure of that.

The only negative comment I have is the battery life. Although the batteries have improved from previous versions, I would gladly endure a little more bulk if it meant additional battery life. My son plays for about an hour, then has to plug it in.

Otherwise, this is the ultimate in portable gaming.
