Totally Under Rated Amp!!

Pros: Look Good, HIGH POWER, clean sound, small footprint and easy wiring configurations.

Cons: HIGH POWER (easy to blow speakers not ready for these)

I bought2 of these amps off eBay and installed them in my 2004 Grand Am one amp powered one sub and I had 2 subs. The subs were DVC and each voice coil was 4 ohms so the load presented to each amp was a 2ohm load (wired that way). The spec sheet that came with the amp stated 276 RMS and 286 RMS watts @ 12.5 volts, after I did some math I found them to be over 400 RMS watts @ 14.4 volts!!! I had them powering 2 12" Kicker CVR's (built to handle 400 RMS watts apiece) and retrospectively one of them is now blown...couldn't handle the power from these awesome amps. I would HIGHLY recommend these amps but be prepared for more power than they state...MTX is very conservative with their power ratings!
