Guess Who?

I first bought guess who for my son when he was five even though the games says you must be 6 and over to play. I did so knowing that he would be watched while playing and also knowing that there are no small pieces to choke on or to lose some where.

Needless to say my son loves this game and he finds it easy to play and enjoys teaching his friends how to play as well.

To play Guess Who? First you must assemble the game. It is easy though so don't worry. All you have to do is snap all 24 faces into the plastic boards given in the box one is red the other is blue. Make sure each face is easily lifted up and down so the game will be played properly. If done correctly you will not have to assemble again.

The game is very simple. Two people play at once "or as I do you may have teams " Each player picks a card from the deck, the cards contain a face of one of the plastic faces on each person board. You place the card you picked into the slot on your board where the opponent is unable to see it and then you each take turns asking questions, such as, does your person have rosey cheeks? Or Is your person wearing glasses? Or does your person have a big fat nose? These are only few on many questions you may ask through out the game. As you are asking questions you eliminate the ones that don't or do have what you asked about such as. "Does your person wear glasses?" and if your opponent says yes you push down all the faces that don't have any glasses on their faces.

When you think or believe you know who the other player's mystery face card is you can ask if its the person you think it is. Such as, Is your person Susan? And if you guessed right then you win the game,if you have guessed wrong you just continue and put susan's face down since you now know its not her.

There are five "notches" I will call them, on the front of each players plastic board. These indicate the number of wins each player has. For instance if I won 2 I'd move my lever two notches over, if my opponent won 4 they would move their's over four. You can play best out of five or just play one game.Thats totaly up to the players.

This game has brought my son and his friends alot of joy and keeps them busy quite often enough. Also I must admit that I myself don't mind playing with them on occasion. We can spend time together and have a lot of fun at the same time. I could not ask for more in a game.

The set up is so easy and the game it's self is so easy to play. I can not even complain about the price because at only 11.99 this game is a steal.
