My son received this game, GUESS WHO?, 2 years ago for his 6th birthday. He seemed very excited as some of his friends already had this game.

Guess Who? is made by Milton Bradley. It is a 2 player game for ages 6 and up. As it states on the box, it is the ORIGINAL mystery face guessing game.

Upon opening the box, we found inside the following:

2 plastic game board trays - one in red and the other in blue

24 mystery cards

48 face cards

2 score keepers and the instructions

There was some assembly required. We had to separate all the cards (be careful not to tear them) and set up the game board trays with their flaps. The face cards are put in to the game board tray slots. Each tray contains the exact same cards. The trays are plastic and have proven to be very durable. It took about 20 minutes in total.

Play beings after each player draws one mystery card and slides it in to the slot on their tray. The other mystery cards are put on the side and not used.

The object of the game is for each player, one at a time, to ask the other ONLY, questions that can be answered yes or no. For example.....does your "person" have glasses? Based on the answer, if you answered yes to that question, then all face cards without glasses would then be flipped down. You go back and forth asking questions and eliminating face cards until you are left with one or two face cards and think you can GUESS WHO the mystery card is. If you are the first to discover your opponent's mystery card then you win.

I like the fact that no batteries are required and it is not a noisy game but I will tell you that when a face card does come out of its slot it can get very frustrating to get it back in.

My son is now 8 and I feel we are out growing this game but I will be passing it down to my now 5 year old. We did try to play this game today but I can see he is having some trouble catching on to the yes or no question part. He is learning how to reason and think things out and how to differenciate between different types of people but we still have a ways to go.

We did have have fun with this game and I do recommend it.

Guess Who? will really keep you guessing!
