If you are a Star Wars Fan, gotta have it

I can't believe it has been 2 years since I first played this game...Anyway, because of the Star Wars Lego II version depute this past week, I have to give this game its own credit due...
This game is consider as a platformer game which is very similar to Super Marios/Sonic games. In other words, you play a character that goes through a maze/puzzle to earn points. The difference here is it in a Star Wars Story format. As for this game, it is design for Eps I-III(there is a bonus that leads to Eps IV).
In short, you get to play over 30 different Star Wars characters throughout the game which makes extremely enjoyable(compare to Super Mario). This is one of the few Star Wars game that DOESN'T have a "T"(Teens) or "M"(Maturity) rating which means it is relatively safe for your kids!
Here are my pros for the game:
* One of the few games that everyone can enjoy. I mean EVERYONE(kids, teenagers, mom & dad) can easily pickup within a few minutes.
* Violence is extremely minor. Come on, it is LEGOs gets blown apart...
* If you are a fan, you can't stop snickering as you go through each chapter/episodes
* Where else can you play pretty much any character you want: i.e. Darth Maude, Vader, Padme, etc...
Here are my negative for the game:
* Not made for the SERIOUS GAMERS - way too easy and amazingly short. For serious gamers, you better off renting this thing and return it within a week.
All in all, although its is not for the serious gamers - that is not the point of this game. It is Lego's for crying out loud! It is made for everyone - very easily to pickup and learn. I am slowly approaching 40 and can't stop smiling everytime I play this game with my son.

It is somewhat challenging for the young because it makes you think about each character's strength and remembering all the stories line that makes Star Wars unique. Because I am frenatic Star Wars fan, I can't think a better game for my 5 year old.
