Epinions It's The 80s Again

by  ordune7,  Jan 19, 2003
Pros: The Golden Era of Wrestling Lives
Cons: Not Enough Options
The Bottom Line: An overall fun game, albeit with a potentially short life span.
Review: Perhaps those of us who were fans of wrestling during the 80s and early 90s when most of the wrestlers in this game were popular have no chance of not being charmed by the game. I'd like to give an honorary PHd to whomever came up with the idea of this...

Epinions Legends Of Wresling

by  diphole,  Jun 7, 2002
Pros: Wrestle with real Professional Wrestling greats, Advanced Create-A-Wrestler and Create-A-Legend modes, Territorial Career mode.
Cons: Some left out wrestling greats.
The Bottom Line: For hardcore fans of professional wrestling.
Review: Legends Of Wrestling features 44 of the greatest wrestlers of all time (42 if you count Legion Of Doom and The Rock and Roll Express tag teams as one), which includes: Hulk Hogan, Bret "Hitman" Hart, Jimmy Snuka, King Kong Bundy, Road Warriors, Sabu, Rob...

Epinions The Hulkster, RVD, And The Von Erichs In One Game? I Must Be Dreaming!

by  LoneWOlf316,  May 14, 2002
Pros: Great wrestlers, no more "Attitude" engine
Cons: Somewhat unresponsive controls, lack of Jake Roberts and other legends
The Bottom Line: It's no Smackdown, but it's still a solid game.
Review: For Christmas this year, I got "Legends of Wrestling" for my PS2, and I can only say that it isn't a game for everyone. While every PS2 owning wrestling fan have played Smackdown: Just Bring It, almost no one seems to have given this game a chance....

Epinions Legends of Wrestling brings back a few classics

by  mtortorich,  Dec 25, 2001
Pros: Many of your favorite old school wrestlers in a game packed full of fun.
Cons: Hard to play for many first-time players.
The Bottom Line: It's good to see Acclaim make its return to the wrestling genre trying new things. A few small bugs. I would recommend it to any old school fans.
Review: Acclaim is finally back producing wrestling games. Their lastest title, Legends of Wrestling, will please some and disappoint many. First off, if you're the type of wrestling fan that loves those arcade-style Smackdown games, then you might as well...

Epinions A very bumpy and jagged trip down memory lane

by  rem_rule,  Feb 19, 2003
Pros: All your favourite stars from the past, good wrestling engine
Cons: Bad graphics, presentation, lack of some wrestlers.
The Bottom Line: It might not bring a tear to your eye, but it's still a decent grapple.
Review: It's the type of game, I suppose, that wrestling fans have been begging for for years. When it comes out, they slate it. Why?

Having read some of the scathing reviews that this game got upon release, I was very skeptical about buying Legends...

Epinions There's a Hulkamaniac in all of us

by  xeno3998,  Jan 22, 2002
Pros: decent graphics, a few cool moments
Cons: utterly terrible wrestling engine, boring music, few original entrance themes
The Bottom Line: sl;sl;kdsds
Review:
We all loved these guys as kids, didn't we? Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, The Von Erichs, Dynamite Kid, The Animal, Greg Valentine, The Sheik and some others. These actors built wrestling up into what it is today, and now Acclaim is here to...
