The only mouse I use these days...

I bought this cordless mini-mouse as part of a package with my HP Pavilion notebook computer in the fall of 2006. I immediately noticed that it was much more comfortable overall for my rather small hands and fingers. Not once have I had a problem with tendonitis or other neuromuscular strain in my hand and wrist as a result of using this product; and this has often been a serious problem for me, in past jobs requiring frequent computer use. No more need for wrist-supporting devices, ice packs, or painkiller medications.

The only drawback with this device is that, being cordless and operating on an electronic connection to my laptop, it goes through pairs of triple-A batteries like candy; so be sure to have plenty of AAA batteries on hand. In fact, carry some with you, in case of connection loss. Also, when changing batteries, the mouse is sometimes a bit hard to open when pushing up the top with one's thumbs. Still, one must be gentle with this thing, to avoid breakage during a battery change. Don't try to hard to force the lid open.

Despite such drawbacks, however, this mouse has been a lifesaver for my hand and wrist; and I'll wager that any other small-handed adult or child out there will agree, after their first pain-free use of this product. I wonder why more manufacturers don't make cordless mouses/mice in a variety of sizes that won't damage various-size hands!
