Pros: Versatility in grinding coffee beans. Get fresh coffee every time.
Cons: None for the mill, but wish coffee beans were a lot cheaper.

Review: The product
I bought the Braun Coffee and Espresso Mill for my mother as a Mother's day present several years ago for approximately $40 CDN including sales tax. The mill comes with:

by  johnr55,  Dec 19, 2000
Pros: consistent grind, convenient bean storage
Cons: better plan to wipe up afterward!
Review: I graduated to this grinder from several of the blade-type units. Each type has its advantages but these are the main advantages of this type:

1) you can set the timer to grind the exact amount you need for your pot.
2) you can store...

by  robertse,  Jan 12, 2000
Pros: Great coffee, easy to maintain
Cons: Takes up more room than some
Review: Who says you can't buy happiness? Just the smell of fresh ground coffee makes me happy! I bought my beloved Braun coffee grinder last year at Sam's Club for $14.97, mainly because the price was right and it came with a free pound of coffee. Well, it has...

Epinions Great for espresso!

by  kevanton,  Dec 15, 1999
Pros: Excellent grinding results, durable, inexpensive
Cons: None that I can think of
Review: This is an excellent grinder for espresso. You can adjust to very fine grind or course for French press coffee. I use mine very often, so far it is very reliable.

The container which holds the beans is very airtight, I usually fill it up and...

Epinions Easiest CleanUp

by  ladykyna,  Dec 17, 1999
Pros: Multiple setting speeds, ease of use.
Cons: Cost a bit more than traditional grinders
Review: There is nothing like the taste and smell of freshly ground coffee. But your traditional home grinders often all grind it the same and it is a mess to clean up afterward. This product allows you to set the grind and then grinds it into a separate...

Pros: Consistency of grinds

Review: I have been using Braun coffee grinders for years and am very satisfied. The KMM30 exceeds all previous ones. I grind my coffee beans for exactly 11 seconds and find that the consistency of the grinds is almost amazing. I would not like to begin the...

by  pipet,  Nov 27, 2000
Pros: overall good grinder for the money
Cons: can be messy, improper assembly gives a big mess, hard to clean
The Bottom Line: This burr grinder is a respectable, entry-level model and will produce a good, although not perfect, grind.
Review: Braun Coffee Grinder KMM 30

Why this model

I bought this burr grinder about 1.5 years ago because I wanted to be able to get a more consistent grind to my coffee than my old blade grinder is capable of giving. When...

by  eddie-rascalle,  Dec 31, 2001
Pros: Simple and easy, good cord storage, it has never complained about my singing.
Cons: None, maybe a little high price but worth it.
The Bottom Line: Its well designed, it works and its simple.
Review: For years I kept my old Braun KSM 2/4 grinder in the cupboard for emergencies -- its the little cousin of the Braun KMM30 and it works fine, you hold down a button and it gives your hand a buzz before any coffee is consumed. Then you turn it upside-down...

Pros: Provides a consistent grind using a precision milling system.
